So our neighbours are being used as guinea pigs to test how 1000 fans at the luton game get on.
When only 6 people are allowed to be together while in Birmingham its no household mixing i think it madness to start letting fans back in grounds.

At least luton have now decided against fans attending as not enough time to get things into place to make it a safe environment.

Sat outside spaced apart is very different than having big groups of people all round someones house.
It would be safer having 1000 people spread out like that at a football game than going to a busy supermarket all indoors for sure (which people have had to do all through lockdown) .

Gingerkid its not just sitting out in the open its using toilets and the policing of it.
Also people come from all different areas and will use hospitality around the ground.
The staffing of the ground would cost a fortune as well at the present time with rates going up its not a good idea.

Ff79 yes I am quite aware there a virus around, I can’t get heart treatment because of it, but at some stage we got to start living a bit again slowly back to some form of normality, or sit on our arses and have a living death, if you take everything on the tv news as gospel, you would have gone mad by now,

Problem we were getting back to something like normall only for the virus to start spreading again.
My opinion is that its not wise to have any large gatherings be they spirting events or pop concerts.
The time will come when we will return to our spirt and social lives but now with a start of a resurgence is not the time.

Fawaz if your going to criticize posts at least read them properly, I didn’t say the virus wasn’t dangerous I inferred elements of the press were scaremongering, so even though cases are nowhere near their peak, you still think people should be locked down? Life is about more than breathing, and people need to see a slow return to some normality, social and cultural, I don’t see a thousand people outdoors in a 20/ 30k stadium as reckless,

As Steve said, the whole thing about being careful and not spreading the virus is using good common sense, it's just a shame there are so many who don't have any.
To be honest, people can find the worst out of anything and knock holes, but I think it says more about them as a person than anything else.
