If rumours are true and bids in for Yates and Worrall that's what 4 of our young lads sold for money or is it 5 with Brereton I get that we will always have to sell but to asset strip a club to fund silly wages for the best part w##k players is a very sad thing to see.

And cloughie people forget he sold britt for £15 million before a ball was kicked and he was young too.
The crown jewels gone.

Fff79 Britt wanted to go for the money, we couldn’t match boro with their parachute payments, anyway Britt never came back the same after the bad injury, he’s not exactly pulled any trees up at boro,

🤔🤔🤔🤔.

FF. Someone needs to get their eyes tested! 😎😎😎😎.

I think the angst is selling so many decent players to find appalling signings Stevie, for it’s that what worries me, it’s either calculated stripping or utter incompetence. Either way it’s going to hurt the club. I’m very worried this season will go the same way as the playoff season after Hart .

16 Sep 2020 08:30:46
Fawaz okay mate what impact has Britt had at boro? His record there doesn’t warrant his fee, his goals tally is ordinary, some mangers there didn’t want to play him, and last season was spent mostly fighting relegation, all suggests we got the best of that deal,

16 Sep 2020 08:43:22
2star mate I ain’t terrifically optimistic, but I don’t see defeat in the 1st game as a disaster, and certainly not a reason for the hysteria of some posts on here,

16 Sep 2020 08:50:37
Aphia was sold too. None of these millions are being reinvested into the playing dept to bolster key signings. Their must be north of £50million recouped from selling the youngsters. Concerns must be on ppls minds about the motives.

We all have opinions be them wrong or right.
None of us can alter or change anything.
One thing we all have in common is frustration with Forest!

Hysteria after one loss? But it is not one loss, it goes back to last term does it not.

New players have been brought in, and i hope they work out for the team, but if you add the cup game against Barnsley to the term then since the melt down of the team our players leader has changed nothing from that in two games.

He even admitted to playing for a draw against QPR, that speaks volumes about his ambition.

Having sold Britt to Boro who did we replace him with? Not anybody as good. Having sold Cash, who are we replacing him with? Nobody nearly as good. Which is why we are still stuck in Championship. Not down to the manager/ head coach whoever he is.

16 Sep 2020 11:19:37
Cash has only just been sold, and we have got Grabban. Yes the Greek owner is trying to get players on the cheap hoping that they are hidden gems that have mostly been hidden fools gold but the players leader can have the best players brought but if he does not play to their strengths then he will always fail. Off course the owner has to take some of the blame just like i said before giving players long contracts and silly wages is down to the idiots whose job is to negotiate with players and their agents.

Rutland We might have sold 50mill worth of players over 4 or 5 years, but the club is costing 30 million plus a year to run, and always has lost millions, even under the supposed careful doughty, so who picks up the tab for the shortfall? some on here, seem to think gets an endless queue of mug billionaires waiting to throw there money away on a football club, and all the thanks they get is abuse from a section of fans, marinakis gets slated fawaz did doughty was forced out by abuse, scholar and Wray got abuse, and even the old committee did, I suppose they must all have been wrong then., all successful people in every other parts of their lives but at forest,

16 Sep 2020 11:50:37
Hysteria. not at all!
This stems way before the start of the season.
Get Forward is correct it goes way back before lockdown.
Do you think Lamouchi has learnt anything other than going for draws?
He plays the same tactics because it's all he knows.
You can keep getting different players every time the transfer window opens expecting to make a difference.
Another thing another poster mentioned was asset stripping.
Selling the players that are worth something to fund an already bloated team of which a lot don't even get a game!
To say our Greek owner is a business man and has owned another team for years has he really a clue what he's doing?
This surely isn't the paving stones to get to the Premiership is it?

16 Sep 2020 13:57:06
Its getting the right players out which seems to be a problem. The likes of Clough, Bong, Adomah and Hefele are draining our resources and should be moved on. that's also down to recruitment staff not the manager.

16 Sep 2020 16:43:26
Many are to blame but man motivation is a must also.
