Im really desperately sorry to have to say this, and it gives me no pleasure at all, I also understand that we need stability at our fantastic club but I'm sorry this coach has to go, not at Christmas but now. Both he and the fat Greek are killing the club we all love. Us the fans count for nothing any more we are treated like idiots and told a load of bull by owner and manager, they also expect us to keep tuning up ( when we can) to watch football with a so called stile and tactics that anyone on this site could do better, yer what tactics I hear you say, I'm sick of the way we play, and possibly the players are to hence the way the team is performing of late. yes we finished 7th last time but did we really deserve to. Like someone on here said, there are two very good English manager's out of work at present but I've no doubt we'll stick with this guy until it's too late . Hopefully we get a better result at the weekend, my opinion will still be the same S L must go but we will still be left with the Greek and going in the wrong direction. Sorry for the moan.

Totally agree. I was hoping SL had learned from last season but it is just going to be more of the same negative defensive football this season. 38% possession against a side that will most likely be towards the bottom of the table shows his intent. Yes it wasn't our strongest team but its clear this guy is a stubborn one trick pony. Maybe we'll play differently at home but I very much doubt it. I really hope he proves me wrong but I think we're in for a season of mediocracy.

no need to apologise its a banter site and your entitled to your opinion. the football we are playing is awful to watch and we still don't seem to be able to keep possession. i'm willing to give the team and manager a little bit of time maybe 8/ 10 games to see if things get any better with a settled side and give the new lads a chance to settle in. i think taylor and freeman in particular will prove to be good signings but we really do need to start taking the game to the opposition and be a lot more positive. i just wish sl would recognise this and let the players off the leash a bit. i'm going to try to be optimistic and hope there's better to come starting next week.

To be fair in my opinion Lambrini is set in his ways and won't or cannot alter his tactics.
The same old excuses each are wearing thin and his arrogance is inexcusable.
It seems Marinakis in many ways is another Fawaz and will ruin the club if not careful with his ethos of running an English club.
Lambrini should of learned his mistakes but at present the same frailties are evident.

dont understand the clamour for English manager. We have had loads and not made the Premier league.
Championship winner and runner up last season both had foreign coaches.
We have several new players surely fans should give them a chance to play a few games before they, the team and manager are judged.

No clamour trent its just stating a fact
Perhaps a lot of us made our mind up about the manager/ coach even before the end of last season.
