A good player sold to fund what is surely the most ridiculous transfer dealings by any club ever . Cash sold to fund a string of failures - fans f***ed over again .

2star mate cash was always going to leave when we didn’t get promoted, it’s the way for all championship clubs, we all have to sacrifice our best prospects to fund the club and keep within the ridiculous ffp ‘rules’.

i would echo that. i'm just as dissapointed as anyone that cash is going but that's how championship clubs and lower league clubs have to run. all the best players go eventually so i understand that and i wouldn't say our transfers have been bad.

As much as i keep saying that the only players of value are the ones that come through the academy. We sell as soon as they become an asset. Not good really but look at the money that has been brought, brereton, appiah, oliver burke serious dough. Were they any good? Not sure how appiah is getting on but the other 2 have bombed. Is cash worth 12 million? Not sure. He is to us as a player but will he end up surplus in 2 yrs time at villa. So either we just strip the crown jewels or someone at the club seizes opportunities to balance the books. But in reality that money is better spent on wages than trust this bunch to unearth another carvalaho lol.

Red tree, ask yourself why we need to sell cash? I’ve no issue with the players brought in at all, each and everyone will have my support, if we were bringing in a 7 million pound player I’d be cool with selling him. It’s not the case though is it and he’s being sold to fund last seasons (again ) disastrous transfer dealings .

Re players like Cash it is highly probable that his head has been turned. Stay in Championship or play in the Premier league on double the wages? Its a no brainer. The club then have to get the max they can for him.
He's not a Nottm lad either so hasn't got that pull.

Trentender, same old excuses being rolled out, we’ve sold him due to our finances being abysmal . Selling good players should fund the club and an umbrella signing . 6 million for the coffers six million on a decent player . We might get another couple of signings yet so perfect if we do. At the minute though it looks like we’ve got to stem the losses from silly signings . More than happy to come back and retract if I’m proved wrong. Jenkinson and darikwa ain’t replacements for cash, in fact I’d rather hoped at least one both would be released or sold this season. Both players must have cost the club a lot of money and delivered nothing, fortunately the cash experiment worked out, credit to Sabri on that one .
