Any body know why we seem ( NEP ) to be after Keiron Freeman? Surely if he cannot get in the Sheffield side and we sold him as we couldn't find a place for him . In addition we have Jenkinson and Darwika plus who ever is in the under 23s. This is all assuming Cash is sold. As centre backs we have bought Hefele, Dawson, Benaloune, Fig plus the under 23s . Do we really need any more when we are supposed to be cutting down a ridiculous wage bill . If Worrall's value is 10 M then to get someone of comparable skills .

Looks just like another tatooed millionaire to me and i agree he can't be that good if sheff utd let him run doen his contract.

His wages are probably less than most players at our club coming from Sheff Utd who have paid their players a pittance compared to ours. He might not be a leap forward in talent but he's a hard working player who gives his all of n low wages. Perhaps we need a few more like him.

He left Forest because he only ever played 2 games here. He is a Forest fan.
He is not a center back so his possible signing is nothing to do with Hefela etc. Keiran is a right back so will be signing because Jenkinson is injury prone, Darikwa has a suspect ankle and Cash is possibly leaving. We can't be left with just a youth player if they get injured so we need a senior RB.
The other factor is that Freeman will be likely to sign as his family is here and he supports Forest. We also need to save our pennies for a winger, striker and creative player and Freeman is available on a free transfer.
The rumour makes sense and is likely true.

Not if the contract means they should be here for another year or so, that way we'd have to pay to break the contract. and with a lot of them who's going to make a bid for them?

Exactly so the retained list is just players we already know Who are in contract.

Some of the names mentioned on the retained list are available for transfer with a view to getting a fee, it doesn't necessarily mean they will be match day squad players.
