Don't know if we've got any notts cricket fans on here, but they added to the roll of sports embarrassment for the city yesterday but allowing derby to score 365 in the last innings to win the match, utterly shameful, what with them now 2years since they won a 4 day match, us collapsing pathetically, and notts co being battered by the mighty Harrogate, must be something in the air around here,

The cricket team is a total embarrassment. Why the gave Moore’s a new contract is beyond me. He should go along with Newell whose recruitment over the past 2 seasons has been abysmal. Signing players who are well past their sell buy date, and electing a captain who is just not up to it. I cannot be bothered to read Moore’s lame excuses this time. Clive Edward Butler Rice would be turning in his grave. Sorry to send a post on this football site, but there is not a corresponding one the cricket. Probably a good job too.

Stevie f, yes I heard about Mr Newell. As I said Moore’s is a joke, and the only reason his son gets in the team is because of his old man. He also plays his old mate from Sussex ie Nash who is getting on, and Slater goes out on loan and gets a big ton. What a fiasco. Finally the club employ this top Jonny banana bowling coach, a Mr Shine, and still they cannot bowl out Derbyshire, who reach a record breaking score.
