Many clubs will not be spending their usual amount of money in the current crisis ,us included ,some on here need to get real!

Carlo you are quite correct. Football is approaching a critical stage. In the end it is a form of entertainment that most of the time we enjoy watching! It is similar to other areas where income and therefore survival depend on an audience. This virus will keep us away from the City Ground I suspect for the rest of the year. Just like any professions there will be more and more casualties the longer this goes on . Will common sense finally prevail and a cap put on wages and agents fees. The Sky induced gravy train has hit its buffers. Forest has to cut its cloth accordingly ie get what we can for Matty Cash, trim the squad considerably and tread water this season. This means playing the under 23 Mighten, Johnson, Walker etc and see what happens.

I agree there will be less spent, which will mean the club will have to gamble on cheaper players like everyone else.
We have a more than reasonable core of a squad that nearly made it.
The youngsters that were blooded will be better players for the experience and who knows maybe a couple of new ones are in the wings to join the first team squad.
A natural goal poacher and creative midfielders are the weakness in the squad.
The interesting situation to consider is the 3 relegated from the Premier league. They will all lose players to the big boys but how much will they spend to try and get up.
