I read with interest stevie f take on lastnight and i agree with the sentiment of the financial consequences.
Ppl saying on here who we might sell and buy. With the virus i think the season will kick off with no crowds. I don't think that football is enjoyable, exciting or viable without the punters. Steve also said thst refunds on season cards is inevitable so will place clubs like us in financial difficulties. Without the punters adverising is less appealing. The game is sterile to view on telly and this will have a severe knock on effect. Csn players be paid so much as a consequence and will the transfer market be bouyant or mkre realistic on fees and wages as a result. The football world is changing and with winter predictions of a big spike in s then caution amongst clubs will be very influential. How long can sky etc keep paying the big bucks?
So I think movement, other than the loan and out of contract players, will be very subdued. I think SL will be rerained under the current restrictions and when ever they are lifted fully and good health among the nation returns then we will see about Sabri's future.

Agree0 Disagree0

Id agree rutland we won't be watching from the stands.
Why should winter bring a second wave though?
Climae makes no difference as it doesn't matter if your in florida or sweden or brazil.
So if a second wave comes it could come at anytime.
Players are overpaid anyway so if clubs stuggle financially then at least its an even playing field with all clubs receiving no matchday revenue.
So if the clubs revenue falls then there is no better time for football to refuse to pay money on wages they simply can't afford.
The players will either have to accept or be unemployed.
Tough times for everyone so why should footballers expect any thing different?

I don’t get the second wave stuff, out climate it’s almost seasonally void now . Most of the year it’s between 12 and 18 degrees . A climate very similar to forest actually, dull, stagnant, static, uneventful and boring .

FF, your memory or your 6th sense is bloody good . This time last year we’d be landing in Houston . As we speak today We’d just about be touching down in Shanghai for a China and Japan adventure! It is what it is (or more aptly it is what it’s not! ) I guess. Feeling a bit sad 😔 today but selfish as well as at least we are all well. My adventures with the family it’s what I get up for mate, I thrive off the memories that make me smile mate . Hope you’re hanging in their pal as I know the things that make you tick are probably not there either .
