It was always going to be hard to catch too 2
Play offs should be easily achievable now.
But who would we all prefer to face in play offs. ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Don’t tempt fate by trying to pick your opponents before we’re definitely in, it is forest we’re talking about mate😊.

2 wins and a draw needed if Derby win every game which isn't going to happen. To be honest I’m hoping Brentford overtake WBA.

It doesn’t matter who we get in the playoffs we can beat all of them. I also think the last minute goal and the now admitted failure to concentrate for the whole game, will only help us focus for the task ahead.

I wouldn't be so sure. Blackpool, Yeovil, and Swansea.

It's a complete lottery, I don't think I could cope if history repeated itself!
😟😟😟.

No way won't we make playoffs but there's no buzz about it for me.
Getting to Wembley for a final would be fantastic, but not being there makes it a non event for me.
Love going to forest and love going the pub, but it won't happen in any normal circumstance so i prefer to stay away.
Even if we get promoted i want my money back for next season, not being harsh on the club i just can't see the next time i watch a game from my seat.
Its a virus that spreads no matter the climate so summer, winter makes no difference.
Fotball is all about the fans and the atmosphere, without it football isn't worth watching.
I understand fans saying well that's better than no football at all.
But is it?
Not for me.
the virus 19 made in china by humans messing with science.
Screwed the world up and ruined life as we know it.
The only good thing is most of humans won't get affected other than lockdowns which cost jobs and our freedom.
Football and pubs is all about banter and a laugh and a joke.
Anything else is not worth bothering with.

Fff79 mate your still a forest fan, just because none of us can be there doesn’t mean it’s a non event, , it’s the biggest thing that’s happened positively in 20 years, we all miss the pint and the banter with the lads, but it’s still forest with a chance of getting back in the big time, surely that gets you interested? even just listening on the radio 😊.

06 Jul 2020 11:11:39
Dont mind listening on radio stevie but even if we get to the premier we won't be watching from the city ground. so i don't have the enthusiasm for football in general at the moment.

06 Jul 2020 11:18:47
I think most people are finding it strange mate,

06 Jul 2020 12:37:56
I disagree no one could say that Saturdays match was not exciting on the TV. It was the usual blood and thunder. Colin Frey is a die hard Forest fan and his radio commentary is very good. I listen to all Forest away matches, is there any difference - I think not . The players gave their all on Saturday and their passion obvious as was their disappointment. Of course I prefer to be at the City ground but it is not possible so this is to me fine. The players say the atmosphere is like an under 23 match so they aren’t bothered. Seriously, IF Forest make the play off final no fan of our team will ever want to miss this . To be a stone throw from the top tier again . Those who are 65 and over who are Forest fans hope to see this before we go to Heaven, ( I suspect some of this site could be going in the opposite direction ) . England to win a World Cup and Forest to win the Champions league - in life if you don’t have hope you have nothing.

Doc m not quite sure what your disagreeing with mate😊.

06 Jul 2020 13:47:18
Totally agree ff79. As a fan since before Clough I want my son to witness the glory that I did. I want him to be at Wembley for the play off final. I hopefully want him to see our Premier League games next season. I do not want to watch on TV with an empty stadium. It may be once in a lifetime event for some fans. If anybody believes the Derby game came anywhere near the passionate nigley match we normally see then you're on another planet. Other than the one tackle the game totally lacked the normal edge. I for one found it painful watching like so many games since lockdown. I wasn't in favour of the restart and will remain so even if we do get promoted. It's a spectator sport and isn't the same game without fans there.

06 Jul 2020 14:54:10
Could not agree more mate.

06 Jul 2020 15:36:42
Stevie F The post above from Syred and FF79’who both unfortunately don’t seem to like the current set up for matches which we had no choice over. In fact we are lucky matches have restarted, in theory the season finish and let’s hope all will be back to 95% normal in every aspect of everyone’s lives by September.

06 Jul 2020 19:05:36
Agree with everything you say, Ff79. Apart from 'the virus 19 made in china by humans messing with science' which is absolute tosh. Agree with the football sentient though.

06 Jul 2020 19:56:30
Psycho well it definitely originated in China, that's a matter of record, you obviously know something no one else does regarding its scientific origin,

07 Jul 2020 09:07:31
FF79 - me thinks you like the beer and banter more than the mighty reds.

07 Jul 2020 13:15:08
I just like the whole day Gazza.
Get up shower fried breakfast walk down to the bookies and put my bet on.
Meet my mates at the train statio and then go for a few pints around the station.
Taxi to the ground meet up with lads that sit around us and enjoy the game.
Have some more beers while discussing the match train home with a bottle of red.
How can tv compete with that?
Just ain't the same mate I'll enjoy again when i can go which will probably be the 21/ 22 season from the looks of things.
