I've been reading Geoff thomamas's recollection of his time at forest. Makes interesting reading. I've always been a harsh critic of Ron Atkinson and reading between the lines I'm correct . Thomas made a reference to the brilliant brilliant film kes. Brian Glover playing coach and referee. Seems like this was what Atkinson was exactly like. I have a friend whose brother was a player there at the time and he said Atkinson was a joke. On Facebook there is a championship thread where I've openly slated Atkinson but only to be shot down by WBA fans. Atkinson inherited a talented team and got lucky. Robson, Regis, moses, Batson, wilie etc. He's one of football chancers thankfully he's no longer involved in the game.
