Back in training. All good. when it's safe we finish season behind closed doors and hopefully start next season in the Prem.

Life has to go on. Even if we can't pile into a stadium, we could put up big screens in parks and stuff and have a socially distanced set-up. No it won't be the same but that is not a reason to not do anything. I totally support some kind of safer arrangement (nothing is totally safe of course)

Agree4 Disagree0

Don't start me off, I can pick numerous holes in his statement. Just a taster, his wife was ill he says with the virus symtoms the day before they travelled North . By his own instructions anyone showing virus symptoms should self isolate along with everyone else in that household immediately. He went to Downing Street we all heard him say it. That's all I will say on this matter.

Cummings sister is a director of a chemical company based in Bernard Castle, two days after his visit there a huge contract was signed with the government. Must be eyewash.

At sone time we will have to resort to normality and it has to be this year otherwise people will get very angry.
Its ok queing in the sun but imagine Christmas shopping with theses restrictions?
Its a 70 day pendamic in every country then it goes.
The world can't afford another lockdown so life has to return to normal.

51- I didn’t hear that mate, I thought he said his wife felt ill and when he got home from work she started to feel a bit better so he went back to work, when he got back home that night he felt ill himself and then went up north?

Although I thought some parts were a bit awkward, he explained it all and in his circumstances I think he did what most people would. The people asking questions at the end should be ashamed of themselves-utter embarrassment waste of time and pointless, didn’t even listen or discuss what he said or have the speed of thought to quiz him.

Busy doing up the garden and house after moving 4 weeks ago.
Back working 1st june got to get back some normality although got a good payout off the government for the first time in 41 years of being self employed so haven't lost out financially.

On Cummings. Wife drives but he drives to a beauty spot 30 miles away to see whether he could see enough to drive to London. Oh, it was also her birthday. Excuse me?

26 May 2020 20:45:25
I think the bottom line on Cummings is, you can’t ask people to do something, and then not do it yourself, he should resign end of, what sickens me is the lynch mob mentality of the press in this country, and the igmony of listening to the odious alistair Campbell, Blair’s lapdog and professional liar taking the moral high ground, a man who helped send British troops to war, and in some cases to their deaths, with his so called ‘dodgy dossier’ he should be in prison not lecturing other people on rights and wrongs,

26 May 2020 22:20:20
Stevie, you’re right about Campbell and right about the press.
