Exciting day for us. Hopefully the club players and staf have been observing lock down and are mostly the virus free! Time to play the remaining 11 games.

Don't play them if it's behind closed doors, though. Not a big fan of that idea.

It turns out the lockdown laws have been open to interpretation all along. The good lady isn't feeling too well. So me the missus and the 3 kids are taking the caravan down to St. Ives parking it up on her sister in laws drive for 14 days and 'self isolating' down there. Hopefully it'll be nice weather. And it's perfectly legal. Apparently.

Some things can be legal but common sense can tell you it’s a stupid thing to do - Individuals will always find a way around things that’s why it’s very difficult to cover all angles. Common sense appears to not be very common.

24 May 2020 14:20:16
We thought there were actual laws that we couldn't travel anywhere so we've essentially been stuck in the house for 8 weeks when we could have gone down there from the start. So we've decided to go down in the morning.

Their are instructions that have been broadcast by Boris which he strongly advises you adhere to, and their are civil rights which govern your civil liberties. Those are the ones which are in dispute with Cummings.

24 May 2020 16:12:59
Just stay at home Psycho, your caravan is not welcome in the west country, just spreading more disease 💀

24 May 2020 16:59:16
I’m sure you’ll get a warm welcome from the locals 🤷🏻‍♂️. I wouldn’t really want to ruin anyone’s fun but I hope you get sent back.

24 May 2020 17:24:57
Childcare so they don't catch anything. The missus' sister-in-law will look after the kids in the house while we're in the caravan. Keep her company while the missus' brother is in Iraq with the army. Two birds one stone. We're doing nothing wrong.

24 May 2020 17:22:36
Where I live, we've been stuck in doors since Lock Down, I've noticed when I take my dog out for a hour, the roads are getting really busy?
Sometimes I feel like a spare one?

On our local PSNI Twitter account, the Police are praising people for "Staying off our roads, and saving lives". I was enraged!
And was going to say "Seriously? Not in my area! "
So frustrating!

24 May 2020 17:38:27
Yes you are you are travelling and staying overnight, you could look after the kids at home, plus the kids will probably want to go to the beach and have ice cream, my nephew is Portlander as i am and he says they feel like a second lock down can't move for Covidiots, stay at home mate don't deliver death ☠

24 May 2020 17:50:04
According to the Prime Minister we'll be 'acting responsibly, legally and with integrity'. It's the missus' birthday on Friday so we might even visit one of the castle's in that area.

24 May 2020 18:36:17
Good wind up Psycho, the castles piece let you down, at least i hope you are on a wind up or you are a bigger pratt than I thought 🤔

24 May 2020 19:09:47
You do know there are castles in that area don't you. Although the missus' sister-in-law have told us there closed at the minute so we won't be visiting any after all. Should still be a good fortnight though.

24 May 2020 19:30:51
Hope you enjoy your holiday if you don't post for a while then we know its not a wind up and that you have the virus or arrested by the Cornwall police 🚨 😁

24 May 2020 19:47:08
Unbelievable-I really do hope you are trying to wind us up but unfortunately I think this is what we all have to deal with 🤡.

24 May 2020 19:48:38
Get arrested for what? We're doing nothing wrong. The Prime Minister effectively gave us his blessing today. It's perfectly legal. Just protecting the kids from getting whatever the missus has got. Putting my young uns first. If it's good enough for the goose it's good enough for the gander.

24 May 2020 22:26:22
Crack on then 👍🏻.

25 May 2020 07:18:53
2tone some people don't understand why locals get wind up 2 doctors surgeries your lucky to get into a small accident and emergency are nearest hospital over 20 miles away 3 average supermarkets us locals still queuing up to get into the extra pressure on these is not good I miss the holiday makers they keep us in work and bring joy to the town and I will be glad when there back but as for most English holiday resorts at the minute we're not geared up and ready for them or the risk of the spread of the virus if you look at Greece and Spain resorts they have measures in place I wouldn't tell anyone what to do or not to do i think most people are sensible and can make there own decisions I just want everyone to stay safe holiday makers and locals will be glad when we open back up again and I can grab a beer with some of you that comes to skegs stay safe everyone.

25 May 2020 10:56:44
Good post skegs, common sense required that’s all, surely people don’t require the prime minister to tell them what’s sense and what’s not, and if the prime ministers aide has been a plank, doesn’t mean everyone else has to follow suit, psycho does what he thinks best for his family and I wouldn’t presume to pass comment on his situation, but applying general common sense will get us through this quicker,

25 May 2020 22:00:46
If psycho wants to get there without priblems towing a caravan then he should have got a van and put tarmacing and driveways on it.
Defo not get bothered then 😉😉.
