Burns and or Lloyd would have mullered both of them, possibly at the same time,

They wernt just hard they were very good footballers.
When was the last time you saw a left back score double figures goal wise?
Keane was a leader saw danger but also saw an opportunity to attack .
Two of the very best in their positions.
Hard? your not allowed to be anymore they just played the game to the rules that applied at the time.

We didn’t get the delight of seeing a fully blossomed Keane in the same team as Pearce, how different things might have been had we had retained and signed the following as our spine : Sherringham, Collymore, Pearce, Walker, Cooper, Clough, Bohenien. It’s not fanciful it could have easily happened. Clough was on the brink of building another great team, the players Clark signed had all been identified by Clough’s scouts . He lost the plot and that’s that I guess, we will never know why he didn’t see the trouble we were in much sooner . I’ve heard many times his staff begged him to sign Collymore but he refused to pay the money Southend wanted. Huge shame .

It was the drink my friend and i love one myself so can't say its wrong.
We all have our demons munes a drink like cloughie.
Ive watched all my loved ones pass away with dementia and I'd rather enjoy life and what it brings
If the drink kills me then so be it, don't want to be a burden to my family.
With this lockdown I've understood what it can be like to wake up have no job and have a beer at 12
Put too much weight on sitting in the garden lost a stone in three weeks by being allowed to move and having something to do.
Lockdown with the sun out and nothing to do is a very bad place for me to be.

My daughter was furloughed, and things got on top of her. I'm so glad the fact that she can tell me anything, and not keep it bottled up. just like the that old Pretenders song, "Nothing you confess, will make me love you less. I'll stand by you "

Such a great thing to be able to pass onto your children Rogie - you can buy all the gifts money can buy but the ability to be able to just talk is priceless 👍.

100% Mate. I'm no expert, however we all have to just try to do our best don't we, the fact that she does, is a big thing for me.

Lots of respect rogie if only people like you could talk out to others there's a lot of people out there that just need to talk and sometimes it's the hardest thing to do.
