I see the Barnsley manager has called for the season to be made null and void. Doesn't have anything to do with being bottom of the league. To use the Corona virus as an excuse for you keep your place in the championship is disgusting. Shameful. Pitiful excuses of a man.

At the end of the day football authorities have stopped lower leagues and ended their seasons so they have to be consistent.

I agree the season should be abandoned for all - even Liverpool. This is the most sensible logical decision to make. So it is equal across Europe. The champions league qualifiers are the same as at the end of the 18/ 19 season. The FA need to set an example and take a 50% wage cut as should all the players in the premier ship and championship. There will be contractural problems with the likes of Sky and BT plus season ticket holders wanting money back etc. These problems are minimal compared to the devastation reeked on everyone in this country by this virus . Business’s are folding, our lives turned upside down. People are dying. So football authorities please do the right thing for once.
