Let's get back to Football! Surely we are not going to sign another has been in the form of Diagne . Fallen out with two clubs to date, not in anyway a prolific goal scorer with an asking price similar to Grabban. Some seriously needs to look at who is scouting for the club . Why are European players favored over UK and Irish in lower leagues ( Roy Kean comes to mind ) ? It's hard not to be a doubter when, the three portugese, Mir all come to mind.

Not a prolific goal scorer! Before moving to his present club he scored twenty goals in seventeen games. That is prolific.

Agree 2 star and it shows in the accounts how difficult it is to not breach 39 million losses over 3 seasons while trying to get to the premier unless you try flouting them by renaming stadiums etc.

Have you ever heard of any of the teams he scored for! One team Juventus he scored 0! It’s also his discipline record which is a worry. My point is why is it nearly always an overseas player? Surely there are the potential Roy K out there in the lower leagues.

Football will change after this pandemic, sky will have less money to give out so what agents and players want is one thing, what clubs will be willing to offer will be another.
You are right though and hopefully Brexit will mean a player from EU actually has to be better than what we have.
Some very good players have come to these shores but on the whole more bad ones than good imo.

How many Forest fans had heard of Cobh Ramblers before Keane joined us, and Keane's discipline record was not perfect. Oversea players are usually the cheapest option.
