Hopefully Keith Stroud will be demoted to non league football after the worst ref performance I've seen in over 50 years of watching football. how he or his linesman did not see the dangerous late lunge on Riberio the assault on Ameobi before their second goal, Lolley being booted in the air just outside the penalty area and the Lebron James handball by Bartley is totally beyond me
If we performed like that in our jobs we would be out on our ears!
TWICe now we have been robbed at West Brom of points by crap ref decisions, in a tight league that could be the difference between auto promotion or play offs not good enough.

Certainly some of the decisions yesterday were questionable. You could just about forgive the handball as in real time speed difficult for the lino to see i think. The rest was either incompetance or plain cheating. I thought the spirit in which Albion played the game was surprising. Faking fouls and trying to influence the ref. Disgraceful. As for Livermoore? He really did himself a diservice and frankly that stamp on Ribeiro should be reported by forest and a 3 match ban dished out. It was a violent, cowardly stamp end of. Be intersting to see if any retrospective action is taken.

Not sure there can be any retrospective action; the pundits were discussing this on sky and one piped up and said that because the ref had seen the foul in question, and carried on playing, there can’t be any retrospective action. Makes no sense to me, but just telling how it was mentioned. Personally I’d like to see an independent panel available to managers who they can refer bad decisions or below standard reffing too. And if they find that the officials were below the standards needed they can ban them or fine them. Be a lot less dodgy decisions going on.
