Ok so other teams results didn't go our way but let's be honest they had in previous weeks if Leeds and WBA didn't have such a spectacular bad run of form they would be out of site. Ok so last night was arrogant of the boss but we need to move on from it and hope he learns from it again.

I just hope the players he has trusted so far and I mean the first team can pull him out with a decent result on Saturday. It will be very tough though after they have confidence back with 3 wins on the spin but we do owe them one.

Agree0 Disagree0

If the gamble doesn't pay off and we don't get a result at The Hawthorns then the Charlton debacle will have more serious ramifications as it could turn out to be a season defining result.
Lose to West Brom now and I honestly can't see us even making the play-offs with the pack closing in.
Long way to go and lots of points still on offer but that's just how I see it.

Clough it matters not how the results went lastnight. I also agree with stevief that maybe charlton would have beaten our strongest 11. We all new charlton would be up for it and no pushover and i said so before the game.
Our home form has been pretty wretched and awful to watch. The paying supporters are right behind lamouchi and they played a massive part in getting the team over the line against leeds. Some of the decisions by SL regarding team selection and home formation have been swallowed by the fans. More endured. So to treat the fans with such contempt by selecting thst eleven on a bitterly cold night, with travel issues regarding the bridge etc is unforgivable. I am still raging and i only saw it on the red button.
Successful teams use the old addages, you can only knock down what is infront of you, one game at a time, take each game on its merit etc etc
This game had massive implications and could not have come at a better time. Knock them over and a draw with Albion would be eutopia. No, SL fudged it again. Make no mistake that result opened a lot of eyes as to our ambitions. No other manager would have pulled that suicidal stunt not one.
Just when i was starting to believe!

Whatever the result at the hawthorns I don't ever want to see a repeat of resting players, the fans where cheated, after the Leeds game we were all buzzing and looking forward to Charlton and after struggling through traffic for many with Clifton bridge closed we arrive to see a very worrying team sheet.
Every game now is important not just the ones against top teams and even if we win on Saturday I womt forgive for throwing three points away.
So Lamouchi pack it in it's not clever and has only one outcome.

Does SL have a choice as to the players brought in? I suspect not . He absolutely can not rely on Grabban, Watson, Dawson, Sow, as they are over 30. They will not play some 50 games a season . So you have a squad of players! I might add Lolley has run his socks off for two games and he perhaps needs to recover. Someone like him will run 20 k in a match. So SL needs to use his squad. Each time he has he has got egg on his face and slated on this site. Would Semedo, Jenkinson, Corvallio get in the 3rd 11 - no! Is it fair to be critical of Bong, Diankaby, and costa - no, but they don’t look the players who will improve this squad more in the Semedo line so far. Walker does not deserve criticism, he missed a few on Tuesday but so does Grabban. Mighten is similar to the Charlton player Taylor . Let’s face it players like Wells didn’t want to come to the club - may be 20,000 / week is too little. We don’t know but SL has to try different members of his squad. Grabbon, Sow, had knocks so sure rest them. It’s just his squad is thread bare of replacements but that is not his fault.

Doc these are seasoned pros who earn a good wage each week and be should be able to their socks off.
I'm sure Lamouchi had a say as who wanted in the transfer window.
There is no excuse in resting players in a crucial league game.
If forest were 12 points clear at the top of the league then fair enough but we are not.
