If they are available it won’t happen till a couple of days before the deadline where teams like us are desperate and they know we will pay that little big extra wether that’s through a transfer fee or loan fee. that's exactly what I would do if I had a player that another club desperately wanted.
Martin O’Neil was garbage and we was going knowhere until he listened to the fans when he finally gave carvalho game time and carvalho got him out the crap the last few games.

O’Neil was poor as manager for us in my opinion. thas just my opinion Stevie no need to get upset. if he had not been so stubborn towards carvalho last season who’s knows he could of kept his job, but he was too stubborn even after carvalho had assisted grabban with about 5-6 goals before o'neil came in then o'neil said he had to prove himself!

You’ve got a selective memory MON, Karanka was already seeing the same traits . Carvalho wasn’t consistent enough last season it’s just too many fans refused to see it. I’m guessing by that logic Lamouchi is also poor for being too stubborn to see it as well? It shows how undeveloped his all round game he is when the dead ball killer gets the start . Carvalho’s delivery is streets ahead of silva’s but his all round game has so many weaknesses he’s succumbed his place with ease to a generally ineffective Silva .

That’s the thing 2star O’Neil was getting poor results and doing the same thing over and over expecting a different outcome. playing Murphy in stead of grabban don’t forget. sabri has done his thing and we havnt needed him but he’s got the results so hasn’t had to change much. oneil needed to change and when he finally did his win % went up. strange that one.

Grabban was injured and was going on the advise of his own medical team not the club. If O Neil was that poor it’s odd that his management of carvalho created his best run of form . We can all be subjective can’t we .
