What happened to the club talking to the players agent well in advance to see if the player wanted to come to forest if the opportunity arose. Get organised and lay the foundations. We seem to be looking in all the wrong places.
I like a lot of what SL is about and he is a decent coach capable of good things. Our problem is wanting the moon on a lollystick and and petulance to go with it. My feelings are that their has been no real backing of Lamouchi, just watching and waiting for him to slip so they can roll in another wanna be coach with the remmit of promotion yesterday.
Get walker back, and find from lower leagues or scotland a replacement for silva and see where it takes us this season. Give the manager and his associates a free hand to develop this team as SL has something in his locker that has bonded this squad and for that he needs applauding and backing with a longer contract. What your forgetting is the agents don't own the players they just work on behalf of players.
Players under contract belong to that club until the contract expires.
Contracts don't end till 30 June in general so if a club does not want to sell there is nothing that can be done unless you either meet their price or they will loan him out.
Your inference that nothing is being done and targets weren't identified is just something in your mind as you can't produce any evidence to back up such a claim.
No one is signing players in the championship so are they all not doing their jobs of recruitment?
Patience is required and I'm just looking forward to watching us play Luton then having a few beers after in Nottingham.
Sheff utd managed last season bringing in the likes of mcgoldrick, so just chill and see who we bring in.
I'd rather bring no one in than sign players just because they are available.

The fact is the club won't want press media to know who they are after or targeting.
Everyone is doing the same .
Its brinkmanship right up to last day of window.
The window should be a week long as first 3 weeks nothing happens just press rumours.
