It's interesting that the happy clapper lower bc mentioned Brentford, they lose their best players every season, replace them on a shoestring budget, and still produce the sort of football, especially at home, we can only dream of watching . and remain competitive.

Agree3 Disagree0

Absolutely Stevie F well said. It’s an entertainment industry after all, and TBH I haven’t been entertained by forest for months. Fulham away was good, last 20 minutes away at Leeds as well. QPR away the score line flattered us. Sadly much of the home games have been dire, some of the worst football since Megson. Rather than containing sides, I would rather see us attack and create chances. I can’t remember a single club being promoted out of the Championship playing dour defensive tripe.

30 Dec 2019 16:45:14
I guess "Pato" doesn't really like Derby!
😂😂😂.

30 Dec 2019 17:15:27
Middlesborough?

30 Dec 2019 17:18:54
How many extra points do you get for entertaining football?

30 Dec 2019 17:43:30
Mon None but you might get extra fans through the turnstiles,

30 Dec 2019 17:49:35
Probably minus 20 Mon but that's OK as long as its entertaining I've just come to the conclusion some fans just want sl out.

30 Dec 2019 18:08:45
I never said I wanted the manager out skeg, but it’s interesting you side with a bloke who’s name rejoices at a club legend being sacked,

30 Dec 2019 18:19:24
Let's just simple this up for the moaners. Lamouchi w11 d7 L6 +8 good points 40 5th place. Billy Davies the attacking manager 2013/ 2014 w10 d11 L4 +10 good points 41 5th place lol compare facts and tell me sl is crap lol lamouchi lamouchi lol get a grip.

30 Dec 2019 18:19:58
I enjoyed that match yesterday. Thought our shot on target was awesome. Wave after wave of attacking football, but we manage to hold em off. Carvalho was awesome what an engine.

30 Dec 2019 18:29:58
Some on here have got more faces than the town hall clock Stevie 🤣.

30 Dec 2019 18:41:58
Stevie you keep telling us this a banter site?
But that doesn't seem to apply when someone disagrees with you and you get angry with your replies.
Just saying.

30 Dec 2019 18:43:57
Interesting, I would have said it was a results based business myself, winning with style being a bonus.

I think we need a bit of a reality check, If we were to win our game in hand and that would put us third, who wouldn't of taken that at the start of these season at this stage.

It could be a lot worse after all, look at Derby this season, I bet Rooney is thinking he has made a bad decision.

30 Dec 2019 18:57:25
As I said look at the facts lol lamouchi lamouchi lamouchi 🎉🎉🍻🍻🍻🍻😁🤣🤣🤣🤣.

30 Dec 2019 19:00:52
Thing is gingerkid what fans are doing is being impatient, Lamouchi has come in and in his first 4 months in charge he's got a 48% win rate a window about topen and a solid defensive foundation to build from.
Karanka only managed 28% in a full year, so while we aren't the finished article he is getting results in a very short space of time.
I thought at the start of the season we would really struggle and might be relegation fodder, so to me it's an improvement and can only get better.

30 Dec 2019 19:02:00
Fff79 I ain’t angry mate just making they point some on here you included slated ak for dismal uninspiring football at home now your getting exactly the same and rejoicing in it and slagging anyone else who disagrees, redtree slagged mon from day 1for so called hoof ball, now slates anyone who has the nerve to think this stuff we’re watching is worse, just making my point in a robust debate, as the politicians say, it’s football and opinion to me nothing personal,

30 Dec 2019 19:09:18
Fff79, having said that when some bloke tells me to ‘clear off’ from they club I have supported all over for 50 years ( and I ain’t referring to you mate, ) just because I have a different opinion to him, i’m Less than happy.

30 Dec 2019 19:24:11
Difference is stevie karanka didn't win games, it will improve but has anyone thought the players might be feeling the pressure of playing to full houses?
We all knew starting a season with one striker would be a mistake, but despite that and lolleys loss of form, which I believe will return, Lamouchi is winning games, everyone whose chasing Leeds and WBA have lost more.

30 Dec 2019 19:36:47
I don't agree with that stevie anybody that spends there hard earned money to watch the game is entitled to there say without being told to do one as I've said before not everyone will agree on everything it's a banter site there for there wouldn't be one but we all agree we love forest so at least we will always agree on one thing.

30 Dec 2019 20:20:46
Skegs thanks mate I appreciate the understanding,

30 Dec 2019 20:28:36
Fff79 the thing is to hear people talk you would think sl been left with a scratch squad, when in fact he’s got a 6 mill striker a near 14 mill midfielder cash said to be valued at 12mi by Everton, worrall said to be the subject of a 10 mill bid by burnley, lolley the same by villa, a 3 mill keeper there’s a few in the championship would like to swap places and squad.

30 Dec 2019 20:38:47
It's the lack of a goalscoring midfielder and a winger that can cross a ball and a left back that has pace that would make a difference, what can look a good squad on paper doesn't meen that it will happen on the pitch, you only have to look at stokes squad for confirmation of that and three managers that could not sort them out.

30 Dec 2019 20:49:47
I remember not too long ago we worried about staying up on goal difference. Now it’s if we were entertaining in a win that put us 5th in the league! Now we are 5th and competitive it’s because everyone else are crap. let's face it some of you aren’t happy unless you have something to moan about. Go on admit it, you know who you are 😉 Happy new year everyone 👍🏻.

30 Dec 2019 20:56:21
Lansbury’s a bit of a show pony, but might get you a few from midfield short term, and I’d love to see us try to get billy sharp on loan ( think this unlikely) like most on here think we’ll end up with a couple of foreigners we’ve never heard of, and maybe Tyler back from Lincoln, if this is even possible,

30 Dec 2019 22:03:35
We had a goalscoring midfielder last season Ff and he's still here this season, his name is Lolley and we've got a winger that can cross a ball, his name is Adomah.

30 Dec 2019 22:26:04
But they aren't doing it fred.
Adomah has been a massive disappointment and I think lolleys head was turned with the rumours of his beloved villa after him.
Lolleys a winger anyway fred and he assisted last season as well, but this term he's struggling to recapture that form.
Bostock has failed to come up with anything at all and mir has to be one of the worst strikers ever to wear our shirt.
What he has got right is the defence but made the mistake a lot of coaches do by trying to make room for his captain, Lamouchi has had to put up with injuries to our full backs as well, build on that defence with the best keeper we've had for a while get Ribeiro back and 3 good signings and you might see some better home performances.

30 Dec 2019 22:53:33
Lolley is being played out of position and Adomah can't get a start, all to accommodate Bambi on ice who can neither cross or hit a cows backside with a banjo or a number 10 out wide who has no pace and can't cross. Who's fault is that?
How many times did Clough play Woan or Robertson on the right wing?

31 Dec 2019 09:44:13
Adhoma has had chances and just doesn't do anything fred, lolley has played both wings and did last season he's just bang out of form.
Cavs should not be played as a winger I agree, uncle Albert had the shirt and didn't produce and ameobi is one of those awkward looking players that fans get frustrated with but fred he gives his all, so if uncle Albert wants to hold down a place he needs to put more effort in than he's shown so far, he reminds me of carayol one game in ten when he feels like it.

31 Dec 2019 10:01:54
Stevie,
You mention 5 players out of a squad of 20 or so.
Did Everton, Burnley and Villa actually make a bid for the players, I don't think so as they would have been gone.
We do have the odd gem but as a squad we are still lacking. The big difference to me is the squad are playing more together and for each other bar Sheff Wed game and that's what is getting us the points.

31 Dec 2019 10:41:32
Who cares what clough would do or if lolley is out of position etc?
Get behind the team instead of moaning about the lack of entertainment.
If you want entertainment go to a circus or a pantomime.
Ffs we are 5th for crying out loud.
Reading some of these posts you would think we are fighting relegation. boy oh boy🤣🤣🤣🤣.

31 Dec 2019 11:56:20
I agree with the comments about Adomah and Lolley to a point . However, two players who smashed the championship last season can’t have become bad overnight . The tactics are ostracising some players but we find ourselves in the right place - a place we’d have all taken in august - tough job being a manager isn’t it because the fans want it all - me included sometimes!

31 Dec 2019 12:24:23
Trentender I don’t know whether the club received bids and neither do you, just quoting widespread speculation,

31 Dec 2019 12:41:50
Who let Fawaz back out of his cage?

31 Dec 2019 12:44:47
It's a relevant point Fawaz.
Lolley in his best position on the left wing and Adomah given a few starts on the right would I think improve our attacking prowess especially at home where I can't remember the last time we scored in the first half!

31 Dec 2019 13:01:06
Once lolleys was turned by the prospect of a potential move he was never the same.
Lads it's a new year and decade soon just embrace where we are at present and enjoy the possibilities.
Peace to all and good will to those who doom and gloom. after all whe could sheep shag###s.
