Good to see VAR is cutting out clear and obvious mistakes, like the Norwich 'goal' and the Brighton one earlier. It's turning the game into a farce and it's the real fans in the ground who get to know last of all what's happening, scrap it now!

Should of never been allowed var another thing trying to spoil the game what's the point in having refs and linesman let's get back to the good old days without var and the actors and premaddonnas where footie was footie bring back the 70s hardcore footie at its best when a tackle was a tackle legs straight from under you wipe yourself down and carry on bloody playing.

Var is a good thing it’s the persons who are using it that are the problem.

28 Dec 2019 22:13:29
It's right down to the last millimetre. dreadful system.

If you want var, go watch rugby a load rubbish your telling me if we scored a goal that sent us up to the Premier league in the play off final the ref gave the goa 5 mins later it was disallowed for a toe being offside you would be happy get a grip its swings and roundabouts leave it to the ref and get on with the game of football not the Ps4 4 version.

Var is a joke. They had no cameras in line and relied on calculations. Truly pathetic. It was a goal, a great goal taken away and killed joy for thousands of supporters. No one in the ground appealed for offside. Says much about the modern game and derliction of duty from the match officials.

28 Dec 2019 22:22:53
Mon a few seasons ago they altered the offside rule so that level was onside to encourage more goals, now they take 5 mins trying to prove players are half a toenail offside in a desperate effort to rule goals out, its a joke, moaning managers have been the catalyst for bringing this in, and now they’re still moaning about var decisions, technology in football should end at goal line decisions,

28 Dec 2019 22:40:15
We use to go in pubs and banter that goal was offside should of never been a goal that was a penalty never your having a laugh ain't you now no conversation after 5 minutes V.A.R says its not a goal.

Stevie don't get upset about it it doesn't happen in the championship and were not going to get there cus were rubbish at home🤣🤣🤔🤔.

Firstly all var decisions should be referred to the infield ref to look at the screen as it’s the ref who’s as final say surely an secondly if the linesman doesn’t flag then it should take into concideration that the officials weren’t clear n obviously wrong which is what var came into football for which was the howlers.

29 Dec 2019 07:14:13
It's not VAR that's the problem it's the daft offside rule the FA keep tampering with. If a players arm is a millimetre in front of the defender it's 'offside'. Ridiculous rule.

29 Dec 2019 08:46:49
Fff79 lol don’t spoil it for me mate, I got to have something to moan about lol,

29 Dec 2019 09:14:08
Thing is skeg it’s a level playing field when they say 1mm is offside. rather than relying on a linesman to make his mind up by looking at when the ball is passed then looking at the line. there's 1second from him looking at the ball to the line of the defenders, a lot can happen. if that rule gets played out for everyone there’s no complaint!

29 Dec 2019 11:11:00
No matter how we look at it it's spoilt the game in the Premier league you cheer for the goal only to be told by var 5 minutes later there was a foul 2mins before the goal at the other end of the pitch its ridiculous and not needed.
