FF, I’m with you on our away form but do you really and genuinely feel our home form is an improvement on last season? I haven’t counted but I think we’ve lost 5 at home? I think our home form is really letting us down and needs to improve quickly.
Couple of good signings who can play with energy and intent at home is what we need. I think Carvalho with a run in the playmaker role at home would help too, provided we have attackers who can read his speed of thought .
Very happy we are in and around the mix but disappointed overall with what I’ve seen at home this season . Just my opinion.

Many of those home losses can be put down to injuries but also wrong team selection. We miss Sow so much as he is the best Midfield holder/ destroyer we have lacked for so long, and we need someone better than JC to be creative on the pitch though to me Silva is doing a reasonable job there.
I watched us beat Brentford at home and one of the reasons was the cool head and determined tackling and good positioning of Chema. It would be a mistake to sell him - get rid of Hefele and Benalouane, and retire Dawson.
The team always seem jittery when confronted by the home crowd, and the main reason is we see Grabban has no real support so if we can rectify that in January, home games might be more exciting and effective.
Home crowd pressure certainly seems to affect our lads though V Derby they were well up for it.

I agree with you 2 star the home form is letting us down, but we had a blip like all sides do at some point in a season and lost some form.
We've missed lolley of last season with his driving runs and goals out of nothing.
I'm convinced hell come good and when he does we will be better and JC is a better option in home games than Silva, now jenkinson is fit it gives Lamouchi options of moving cash forward we desperately need Ribeiro in home games too.
Fully fit squad and a couple of additions and we'll be there.
I just don't go with all the panic on here because we lost a couple of games.

I wouldn't worry about jc be gone to olympiakos soon and the money we get back off him we can invest more wisely in players we bring in.

I agree with much of your evaluation one thing in particular compounds it for me and you frame it well. We are too dependent on the something out of nothing goals from Lolley, there is too much nothing and too little something . For me the tactics at home need reviewing , we need to play with far more aggression and intensity, we have to remember the majority of opinions are formed by the performances at home. I’m with you that we could be there with some new signings but not if they are just being sourced to fit into the current style of play.
A reinvigorated style is needed at home with signings sourced to deliver it. I’ve held the same opinion all season, it’s too edgy and reserved at home. Improve that and we will be on the right track.

Cant beat it 2 star 4 years now get away from it all.
Christmas is all about kids that believe and that's special, our kids are grown up and the grandchild gets spoilt all year, so its spoil yourself time without trying to please everyone, hate winter and its great to be away for two weeks of sunshine, that's our present to each other.
