Without stating the outright obvious, our goal threat is simply not good enough for a team pushing for promotion. We are lacking power and drive too. Away from home this set up makes sense but at home we labour with little imagination. Carvalaho has not pressed his case. Clueless when he came on nearly giving a goal away and again wasting a vital set piece. His stats as a professional are 140 appearances for club and country and a return of 14 goals is not nearly good enough for a number 10. Watching Tomlin for Cardiff and he still carries the guile through the middle, very clever and strong on the ball. Feel we missed a trick not signing him. We have a reasonable squad but need more power and creativity, with secondary goal threat whether its from midfield or another striker who knows. I also see sam hutchinson has played a fair amount of games for wednesday. Now he was a grafter!
