As soon as Yatesy put us ahead last night I turned to my daughter and said "right, we need a bit of game management, last 25,and the 3 points are ours" . Instead we bring on 3 attacking subs replacing 3 players who had largely got us into a winning position . I just don't get it. It was calling out for possession, slowing it down, buying a few cheap fouls, you know like they did when they equalized and like Cardiff did at a instead us for 75 minutes. Tailor made for Yacoob. On the bench we have 2 centre backs and 3 attackers, no holding midfielders at all. Do we want to be entertainers or do we want 3 points and 3rd place?

Sabri has cost us 4 points in two games through bad selection. I hope we are not going the same way as other managers we have had. The personnel are there they just aren't being used wisely.

I did indeed say that, and that team got us a 1-0 lead. So what did Sabri do then? Took off one of our best attackers Ameobi, took off Silva who was running midfield and put on golden boy Carvalho who did nothing especially with the last free kick of the game, and took off Yates, who had scored the goal. There was absolutely no need to change anything for change's sake. And the team paid the price.

I agree with you on that and said so last night in my post that there was no need to make three changes but with these international breaks we keep getting 3 games in 8 days so all he's trying to do is keep everyone fresh.
We have this big squad but in reality we only have sixteen or seventeen of those that are good enough to play regular.
Then you consider we have lolley, adhoma totally out of form and a set up that relies on wingers getting crosses in then we will suffer at the . moment.
I don't know the stats for this season but I'd say matty cash has more assists than any of the wingers.
