Came away from Luton game very happy.

Considering our injury problems through the defensive spine of our team I thought Yates and Figeredo were outstanding and Grabban looks back to his best.

I made the point some weeks ago that even with a weakened side Carvalho is not doing enough to warrant a place in the 11 atm, this considering his 13m price tag is the only major worry for SL.

I think Silva, Yates. Semedo and Sow will all be above him in the pecking order now. So maybe a move to Greece could be on the cards

How is Sow a direct threat to Carvalho.

Brilliant result against Luton,
Don't think Carvalho will be a worry to SL he didn't pay the ridiculous £13m transfer fee for him and its also not Carvalho's fault but I would love to know who sanctioned it, the hierarchy will also know now that he's not good enough, Marinakas needs to move him on in January to free up transfer funds hopefully Olympiakos will want him, would love to see us go for Bowen and Grosiki from Hull a bid of around £10m to £12m should do it and probably a cheeky £1m bid for the mutch travelled Lylle Taylor from Charlton who absolutely ran us ragged. My worry until we address the striker situation is that when we go a goal down we just haven't got the firepower to get back into matches, I just hope the sheep don't score first.

Do you really think the club will stump up that kind of money in January.

03 Nov 2019 13:26:47
I agree he will be gone . However I think he’s better when semedo or sow play . At home and perhaps from the bench I think he can still have an impact provided he’s surrounded by the right players .

I agree Skegby far wiser to look to spend the Osborne/ Appiah money on
Bowen and Grosicki if the Greeks do want Carvalho we could possibly get a striker in as well. Good business imo.

03 Nov 2019 13:37:00
I believe the Osborn and Appiah money kept us within the ffp rules, i think any of the teams Forest are fighting for the top six will not sell to us. Carvalho for me will not leave untill the summer, if at all.

Walking the walk I was going to hold a meeting for all our negative supporters to air their views but I cancelled it because I didn't think it would work!

Munmad, I’ve liked Bowen since the first time I saw him, I’m really surprised he’s still there .

03 Nov 2019 14:47:11
Lolley on one wing, Bowen on the other plus Grabban = promotion.

03 Nov 2019 15:06:34
I’d like krosicki too mate, give Lolley a bit of competition- I think it might help him a bit + I think we could play a slightly different game if we rotated the 3. They’ll cost a bit though won’t they . Perhaps they’d swap both for carvs 😊?

03 Nov 2019 16:11:21
MUNMAD7980 Hand on heart ♥ would you see Forest selling 1 or more of its best players in January to a rival?, Forest other than Carvalho do not spend the type of money on players that those two would cost, so why can you see them doing so in January. I do not consider pointing such things out as being negative, although like the way you went about replying,it could turn out I am wrong but try not to think everyone that disagrees with you is negative.

03 Nov 2019 16:56:22
We’re unlikely to sign them, just dreaming Tbh.

03 Nov 2019 19:30:02
Point taken mate.

03 Nov 2019 19:33:46
Bowen is unlikely to move to a Championship club and Uncle Albert is our Grosicki and the same age!

We need another out and out striker and creative midfielder with an eye for goal in the Nick Powell mould?

03 Nov 2019 19:34:53
Grosiki wouldn't cost much he's 31 and in last year of his contract but commands high wages, that could be a stumbling block.

03 Nov 2019 20:53:38
Must admit red we should have gone for Powell.
