Luton's manager said he could hide behind the large amount of possession they had, and them having had two goals disallowed but today was the first time he has been disappointed with their level of performance. He went on to say they lacked craft and creativity.

Its not the possession that wins games it's how you use the possession that matters, Fulham had 70% today against hull and lost 3 nil, Brentford pretty much the same and lost, too much is made of stats and the only one that really counts is the result.

I have feel the same 79, possession has to have purpose. When a manager of the opposition admits to his teams high level of possession does not cover up their poor performance it is good to see.

Lamouchi was purring after the performance today and picked out Yates as an example of what he wants while still asking for improvement all over the park, we are in safe hands.

People will have different opinions but my opinion is if the oppositions performance is poor it means your team got their tactics spot on and made the opposition produce a poor performance.

Loads of possession isn’t much good if it’s in your own half. Just look at us under Warburton. I would much prefer us letting teams have the ball break up the play and hit them on the break. It seems to be working as long as you have that bite in midfield to stop the opposition running through you.

Spot on red dog the last two games with sow and semedo injured and Yates not ready Lamouchi had little option other than bostock who has been very poor and seems to agree and don't think we will see bostock again.

The only real stats that matter are the points on the league table.

You’ll see Bostock if Watson gets injured or loses form. Same type of player. that's why it didn’t work when they played together. Same with Carvalho and Silva, didn’t work. Bostock wasn’t even that bad.
