Read a lot of comments on here regarding Sunday's performance but one player that seems to have missed out is Ben Watson who was awful, Bostock i thought was ok considering he's had very little game time, Mir another gem of a loan signing from Wolves just looked totally out of his depth but having said all that we created maybe three half chances and a good penalty shout before they scored, the ref didn't give us anything, let's hope that this is a blip and we get back to winning ways.

Just one further comment regarding Joe Lolley someone on here said he's a one season wonder what a load of rubbish, his work rate is immense, his tackling back his blocking of crosses he is one of the most complete midfielders/ wingers to have played for the club
in recent times.

Bostock was rubbish Skegby, that's why he was dragged off. Seen him in both games and he's bone idle, just walks about, we're his 13th club. Been released more times than my hand brake so that says it all. No wonder Spurs and Palace binned him off. Prima Donner.

If you think Bostock was ok then you must think Silva was a world beater.

Bostock made way for a more creative midfielder as a tactical change chasing an equaliser. Obviously you want to rip the guy to bits so he was ‘dragged’ off. A 1 nil defeat away from home on the back of 10 game unbeaten run and ridiculous statements like not playing for the club again and tosh like that. We are 4th in the league! Great support. not.

Got to admit perks bostock only played one ball all game and that was his last kick before being subbed, he continually played the ball backwards or sideways and hardly crossed the halfway line in a very pedestrian manner, it could be that he's just rusty from not playing but in two games he's played looked way off the pace and don't think he can play alongside Watson.

We lost 1 nil away. 18 attempts yet only 2 on target. Makes me laugh certain players come in for criticism yet nobody played well. One of those days for all. Watson was awful but because he’s played well in other games makes him immune from flak. Figs makes no attempt to stop the cross for the goal, hardly a mutter. Most people love a scapegoat when we don’t win.

79 some would argue JC usually only plays one good ball in a game but if someone scores from it praise is flowing from his fans. 😁

To be fair to lamouchi it was the game to try out something different with 3 games in 7 days coming up. A draw would have been a good result up there for us, a mistake from worrall and figs also leaving the ball for the keeper rather than clearing it to row z, we would of had the draw. Mir also should of scored 2 goals, can’t blame Mir and bostock to much as they not played many games and do look rusty, Definitely don’t think bostocjk and Watson work in midfield reminds me of colback and Watson just to slow. Luckily They are both signings so will hopefully be replaced In January or the summer with better quality.

Red i know the club have people in place to recruit players therefore Sabri has little to do that side of things but when ask about January some of what he said was : Maybe you can make some speculation for some players, a striker, winger, box to box, right, or left back, and goalkeeper. I'm just focused on my squad, i'm happy with them we need to find a solution with these players. What you make of that is up to you of for me as fans it is too easy to be too critical of what is only our second league defeat, Sabri has done a much better job than i expected so i will keep the faith he wii keep improving the team from the players available to him throughout the season.

22 Oct 2019 20:28:38
Montyred why can't you blame mir and bostock? just because they havnt played many games on that showing they won't be playing manymore at that rate.

22 Oct 2019 22:26:40
Aps of course they can be blamed and at some stage maybe we had to try them out, but think maybe the hull game would have been a wiser decision as in their previous two games Wigan had won against Charlton and Birmingham without conceding so had some good home form going into the game.
But Lamouchi has not got much wrong and he did try and address the problem by taking those two off and we looked a mucher better team.
At least Lamouchi has seen them in action now and will make his decision on them.

Grabban to blame then as he missed a 6 yard sitter. Add Ameobi and Watson to that as they missed free hits from 18 yards and didn’t even hit the target? Maybe less of an overreaction to just concede the whole team had an off day.

23 Oct 2019 11:31:22
Well said perks 10, Sabri tried something new expecting we could at least get a draw and too many players had a bad game.

Bostock was shocking his 1st 2 passes in the 1st 5 mins were huff balls to no one whilst under no pressure, that told me all I needed to know about him.
