It looks as if Bridcutt is coming back earlier than planned. Fractured collar bone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, it takes 16 weeks in all to heel and his loan period will be over by then.

Thing that baffles me about bridcutt is he's not a bad player, but for some reason has been cast aside and the same is happening with yacob also a very good player, it seems very strange not to even give them a preseason friendly game to see what they can do, seems to me the coach isn't allowed and the owners want rid at all costs, both been expensive acquisitions and must have cost us a lot of money to sit on their butts doing nothing.

Neither player good enough, very average championship players at best, Bridcutt went to a desperate Bolton and nobody wanted Yacob that's got to tell a story of how other managers rate them . SL has got a very tight knit squad and in the past the teams who have been promoted are the one's that use the fewest players, so let's hope the current players stay free from injury and the awesome Samba Sow returns quickly.

That's what some of the employers say about me 79 lol 😁.

I don't believe that for a second Skegs. I reckon on are good for staff morale.

11 Oct 2019 07:59:32
Think yacob is a bit better than just average championship played a lot of football at a higher level.
I was putting a cross a point more on the treatment of some players since arriving here, has it been just down to the coaches or something else?
Plenty of others have received the same sort of treatment as well.

Is it their attitude? Colback has had the same treatment at Newcastle it seems to be a modern trend and even if down to the bear bones these players would still rot.
Not arguing about Lamouchi and he's doing a fantastic job just saying certain players are not allowed near the first team even when a new manager has come in.

We have keepers, centre backs, MF ,ers all on top pay who do not play and although it doesn't, come out of pockets it must put the the club in a tricky position of over spending when we ,ll need to spend in Jan!

Carlo we got £8 Million for Appiah, that might help solve some of the problems, but I agree - if the manager doesn't see them as useful then we need to get rid, maybe pay off contracts. but what will happen with Benalouane and Milosevich, Pantilimon and Hefele?

11 Oct 2019 15:01:23
If having a top hevey squad means selling your brightest young players then someone,s got it wrong !
Does nothing for the club and seems to ruin the player to me .

Carlo if you can’t handle it you need to look for something else to follow because that is exactly what happens at 90% of football clubs. I hate certain aspects of football (mainly all the financial and commercial side of the game) and none of it makes sense but as fans you have to put it to one side and hope that the clubs run within limits and the governing bodies have some form of control. We have to put our money and trust into these people and unfortunately it can go wrong as seen at Bolton, Bury and many other smaller teams but we cannot do anything about it apart from cringe and keep our fingers crossed 🤞 I do agree that someone’s got it wrong - well when it actually comes down to it, almost everybody has got it wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Bridcutt is a decent player but he has the same problem at Forest as he had at Leeds in that he does not move the ball forward quickly enough for the style of play.

I wish him a speedy recovery and good luck with his next club as he is a good leader.

11 Oct 2019 21:00:07
What style of play red he's had four different manager's who three of have been told not to play him.
Pants we should not have signed useless, yacob we should not have signed as we had Watson and colback, but think he's a good player.
Muric should not have been signed as we don't need him and pants or Smith can warm the bench.
No point in signing players then freezing them out, just a waste of money.

11 Oct 2019 21:17:30
Fm79 Pants whether or not you liked him was the best we had at the time, it is just the case since Brice came in he has been a class above. You say we had both Watson and Colback so we should not have signed Yacob, but think about it, before Sabri came in Watson had one good game in every four games he played, many saying at his age he no longer has the legs. With Colback his signing was always up in the air, with his having a year left on his contract, the wages he expected, and him thinking a Premier league club might come in for him he was always unlikely to join us. Muric was just a case of the hype around him was bigger than his present ability.

11 Oct 2019 21:48:43
Sabri has a plan of how a team performs as a whole, Watson looked a poor player under karanka because he was alongside another one paced holding midfielder in colback.
Whose have thought six months ago that matty cash would be an amazing right back and Joe worrall an absolute rock as part of our back four?
I'm so glad we didn't sign colback and if you go back in my posts you'll see I wasnt a fan of him.
Lamouchi has got the players believing in him and you can see it both before during and after games.
It's a team game not about individuals and he has got that across to the players and they are right behind him.

12 Oct 2019 10:43:47
A lot of us had faith in Worrall.

12 Oct 2019 12:45:39
We are at present paying £40-50 grand a week a week on goalkeepers alone x that by 52 ,takes a few season tickets to pay that as they say "you do the maths "
Madness must be very hard to sustain and could lead to disaster!
CARLO

We're lucky Worrall wasn,t sold to help fund things

12 Oct 2019 19:47:29
Carlo the maths are one thing that's why we keep selling at least one player a season to balance things.
Brereton £7mill last season
Appiah £8 mill this season
Season cards are just a blip on what a club earns nowadays it's the revenue from sponsors and merchandise that pays the way.
So stop worrying we won't face disaster.
