He has come on leaps and bounds this year alongside Dawson and now faces another big test with Dawson being out for a game or two ( fingers crossed) .
I thought he did a creditable job at Blackburn but can't help thinking Dawson wouldn't have given us quite as fraught a last few minutes as we had and we wouldn't have sat so deep but these are the things Worrall will hopefully learn.
May look a little better for us with Chema at the back as he is to my mind certainly a better ball player than Figuerido ( who in fairness did nothing defensively awful ) and is a natural left footer .
There is a tangible air of confidence around the squad, whoever plays, and I intend to soak it up as long as it continues even through the inevitable rocky patch which will happen.

We were all wrong about his ability Ff. No one was shouting to get him back. No one thought he could be this good.
His brilliant performances have surprised and delighted us.
Burnley might be sniffing again come January.

Think chema is the better distributor but not sure about his defending though dawson will always be a big miss for his leadership and organising.

What is the point in having Chema on instead of Fig, you need defenders to defend, ie make tackles which Chema did not do once when Dawson came off.

Have to say Carlo I was impressed with Milosovic as well but it would appear for one reason or another he is not part of Mr Lamouchis plans.

I constantly criticised Karanka about his treatment of Joe.

I would personally like to thank Aitor Karanka for sending him on loan. He has come back with the right attitude and a point prove. So far he's cut out the sloppy mistakes too. Not sure he would be playing at this level, without that loan. Keep it up Joe. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘.

I didn't slag worrall off either you don't get a 10 million bid and captain your country if your crap, just a case of him being a young player in a struggling side with lots of different partners.
Fox was always the problem as not many could see how bad he was at defending and that included karanka.

Ever considered the Rangers loan may have actually been a good thing and another season on he’s actually ready for the challenge of the championship? Season before last he was postionally awful at times.

I wasn't wrong about Worrall's ability. Neither were the England youth set-up. Neither was Steven Gerrard. I was slated on here for saying it was a mistake to let Worrall go. I have been slated for saying Walker is good enough at this level. Hopefully I'm right about Tyler too.

Agree with you on Tyler too, matty cash has come in for stick in the last couple of seasons too now we have a back four containing worrall and cash and on the whole doing a great job, going out on loan would have made no difference if karanka was still manager as he'd of sent him out again and then he'd have left on a free.

Lol the only thing krankie did any good in this job was leave it and as lamouchi as proved a unknown in English football management is that krankie was a waste of time simples and you even if you wanted to can't argue with that results team spirit and money spent by lamouchi proves that end of 😜.

Hypothetical what Karanka would do now 79 fact is he went on loan last season and has obviously returned a better player. Maybe Tyler will return and do the same. You have to trust what managers are seeing day to day on the training ground and if they don’t believe they are ready so be it.

Worrall has only had 13 games as first choice and is doing OK. Let's see whether he can maintain his form over a season now he is maturing and see if he is the real deal?
He is still young for a defender and struggled for consistency before his loan to Rangers where he was not everyone's best pick as he gave away silly goals.
His biggest test is now to lead the back line now Dawson is out and the Blackburn game showed he still needs to work on his marshalling and positioning skills.
So far managers have called it right with Worrall and no doubt Sabri will keep him fully focused on improving or bring in the experienced back-up?

Agreed Red, he definitely wasn't ready last year, a few on here did say he would benefit from playing alongside someone like Dawson last year. That has happened this season and that has been a brilliant pairing so far.
Hopefully he can keep working hard and improving and he'll be a Forest legend.
