So then derby are being investigated for selling there ground to Mel Morris for £80mill. there ground was listed as an assist on there accounts and was valued at £41mill. if that isn't breaking the rules then I don't know what is.
The question is why has it took them so long to start an investigation?
Nothing will be done about it tho, they will get a slap on the wrist and the efl will amend the rules to stop others doing it.

It’s quite obviously a mythical private valuation, apparently one expert who knows the venue well reckons it’s not worth anything like 41mill, but as has already been said nothing will be done,

Defo Ed. every man and his dog could see what they were doing but the efl turned a blind eye. boro complained straight away but nothing happened so in guessing more have raised the issue. the efl shafted bury but are happy to let this go!

It’s more about the efl and what they are going to do about it. they have just seen bury go under (sure I read Mel was on some sort of panel for that) they’ve deducted points off Birmingham so it will be interesting to see how derby get out of it and what the efl will do.
