While not getting carried away what a great result against a team that demonstrated it does not have the depth of squad to compete this season even though Rooney is already practicing stuff across the pond!

The organised counter attacking style suits our talents and Bostock in particular is the deep lying play maker who keeps us ticking over. He is going to be the main man as he sees the passes into he pockets which gets us attacking the spaces.

Really pleased with how the team shape is developing compared to previous seasons and I'm yet to see a team that is in better shape than us looking forward?

We are well set to deal with Preston's passing game and I fancy us to replicate last nights performance.

I've said all along Bostock, Semedo, Ameobi, Adomah, Sow, are all very strong midfielders, you could see that from their Youtube clips, although Soudani looked good there and turned out to be a flop. I hope Sow and Bostock replace Watson who has no creativity but is good for back four covering. There are a number of combinations that I think Sabri will use depending on the opposition we play - that shows a thinking Manager, not afraid to make mistakes, and use subs when the game is either slipping away, or needs to be re-invigorated. We have to hope and pray our players stay fit and uninjured - that has been a curse over the last few years.

I'd like to give a mention to Mir also. He showed against the sheep that he can get in to the right areas to score goals. Once he's bagged a goal or two, he'll gain confidence and crack on.

Gazza you should have heard the bloke a row behind me in the bridgford upper! I reckon Mir must have knocked his Mrs up, drank his pint on the bar and emptied his bank account 🤷🏻‍♂️.

2tone wish some would give him a chance.

Sorry stevie but for me mir isn't good enough from what I've seen so far did very little against sheeps second eleven if we are up there at xmas a striker is a must for me.
Think Johnson looks a better bet.

I was so hoping that he’d score to shut the bloke up, it was awful. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone moan so much directly at one of our players. We’ve had some dross in the past but you’ve got to give players a chance 🤷🏻‍♂️ 3-0 against direby and he still wouldn’t give it a rest. If he’s a season ticket holder I feel sorry for the people around him 🤣.

I never understand fans that boo or shout abuse at individual players it serves no purpose on the day and annoys paying fans around them.
I remember standing on the kop which was always my favourite part of the ground in the old days and hearing all sorts of abuse behind me and sometimes they even got the players name wrong to make matter worse, without thinking and bearing in mind I'm only 5 foot 7 I shouted out to shut the f up your annoying everyone, to which my brother said where going to die, I looked around and these two big fellas looked me in the eye and apologised, phew although I was fast on my toes in them days, mind you I'm no slouch now 😁😁😁.

I think Lamouchi will perm Sow and Bostock for Watson having gone for experience and leadership while his new signings get match fit and on message with the tactics which was the pleasing thing for me in the game having made changes.

I also thought Mir needed a goal to grow in confidence. However he led the line well to help the team and was in the right spot to get on the end of moves. Hopefully he will improve but yes another striker at Christmas to get on the end of Uncle Albert's stand me up's and Lolley's zippers should see us up there?

Think you'll find at this moment in time Lamouchi has made his mind up on his first eleven with only ameobi and uncle Albert swapping places depending on form.
You have to remember it was men against boys on Tuesday, enjoyable as it was and he'll revert to the side that played Fulham it's not a bad way as we are unbeaten since WBA and that's because we trusted a rookie keeper.
All Tuesday proved was that our second eleven is far superior to the sheep, bostock will get a chance but not yet he"ll stick with his winning league side.

All strikers need is a goal sometimes. Just look at grabban. Give Mir a chance.
