All the critiscm of the ref from the punters re not giving leeds penalties was pathetic. They failed to notice or mention the wrestling applied to Dawson on our 2 second half corners. When Grabban squeesed the ball over the line Dawson was in the process of being blatantly anialated!
On a positive note that was a good point and a battling display. One or two ran out of puff in the midfield but thst was understandable.
Muric is not ready yet. Failed to come out at the right times for crosses and looks as flat footed as pants. He looks terrified.
Robinson does not have the pace for a fullback, this surprised me. Cash worked hard but lacks agility and a pass in that position. Adomah was awful, as was Lolley. Lolley was played in his best position down the right but Leeds were on to his trick of cutting in and smothered his every attempt. He needs support creating a decoy for his runs. Ameobi looked powerful when he came on and maybe he would be more effective centrally. The passing out from cb's was poor and just lost us posession at crucial times.
Grabban is a fox in the box and not a lone striker, lacks the presence and power to be left on his own. He started coming very deep to get the ball as he was getting nothing anyway.
With Jenkinson and Bostock to come in I think we might get a better balance. Over all was pleased with the committment and motivation of the team. Lamouchi was decisive with his subs, looks tactically astute, with what he has got. Some great performances out there yesterday in very testing circumstances so well done to all. Great to hear the vocal fans. U Reds🤣🤣🤣.

Yes and Forshaw should have had 2 yellows 1for simulation, Phillips should have been sent off for a carbon copy of his city ground tackle, absolutely hate leeds.

They can moan all they like they forget Phillips shouldn't of been on the pitch a scissor tackle and he left the ground straight red all day long think the fact it's the second game of the season saved him.

Cash got beat every time The winger got the ball in the first half and the two centre halfs couldn't pass wind,
Silva to light weight for me need to play Amiobi as a striker maybe along side Grabbon.

Heard the match on the radio, and from what I heard we battled throughout the whole match. Grabban was isolated, hope we were only playing that system as we were up against a very good side.
So what if they didn't get a penalty?
We were screwed over more times than I care to remember last season, including by them.
So a we have were due a bit of luck.
I genuinely feared the worst yesterday, but for now I can go into work tomorrow, and face my Leeds loving colleague with my head held high!

JS79 we were playing Leeds away the promotion favourites! i thought it was a great battling performance from the entire team, but if you had to pick out one player who again looked well under par it wasn't the CBs or Cash for me for the second game running it was Lolley.
Either he's a one trick pony or more likely defenders have worked him out and know that he will cut inside from the right to shoot on his left foot.
If he is a left winger then play him as one!

Cheers rogie watched on tv and i know its a different perspective at the match. Pleasantly surprised how bonded the players were. It can and will get better.

They seem to be ok with bamford being offside for there goal. tey moaned about grabban in the build up to our goal yet it was cooper who pulled grabban back before grabban committed a foul.
Var would ruled there goal out and given them 1 penalty they more than likely would of been down to ten men befor whalf time as well.
They only see what they want to see, just like some do with grabban.
