Spending big on a striker doesn't guarantee anything. Middlesbrough spent big on Assombalonga, WBA had Gayle and Rodriguez yet it was Norwich with Teemu Pukki (free) and Sheffield utd with Sharpe and Mcgoldrick (free) who shone last year. Yes Mir could be another be another flop be he could also be another Pukki. We don't know until he's had a chance, at least we won't have spent millions to find out.

People were moaning at the JM price tag as he is unproven in the championship get the impression the club can't win lol.

I think we just need to give everyone a chance now, the seasons on top of us and I have a burst of optimism, , it’s bound to be our season eventually surely lol.

To be honest stevie I'm not expecting us to be top six as I don't think we are any stronger than last season.
What worries me is we have 20 year old goalkeeper with very little experience
A right back whose a winger
Centre back that was deemed not good enough last season
Watson as the holding midfielder whose legs have gone and wasnt good enough last season
Defensively if he keeps playing that lot we will concede for fun any side with pace will destroy them
Then I see us relying on grabban and lolley to get 40 goals between them as can't see many other goalscorers.
First thing I'll get is "your being negative"
Well no I'm just giving an honest assessment as I see it, hope I'm wrong but I can't honestly see us being up there.
