I too am glad that the thumbs down has gone. I posted something a couple of weeks ago regarding tim earlandson and his sad battle with mental illness and his subsequent retirement from the game at the age of 22. Unbelievably my post got and i don't quite recall how many but there were thumbs down as well. Don't get me wrong there were many positive comments and thumbs up
However thumbs down? Faceless and completely inappropriate. I'm all for looking at different opinions however that was uncalled for. Keep the faith. COYR.

Agree2 Disagree0

To right Annesley now we will after see them answering instead of putting a thumbs down but you will find out with most if not all on here anything to do with health in any way we will always give positive responses mate.

Yes annesely red I remember and at least it stops an angry reaction to something that is a serious condition, it wasnt the first time it had happened when someone is ill or needs help it's not good that some see fit to give that a thumbs down.
Personally it never bothered me but you can see a pattern and then you see some angry reaction.
It also means we get a reaction by a post and we've already had two new posters sign up today who have been reading but probably put off by getting thumbs down previously.
So I think it's for the best.

Depends how do you a define 'thumbs down'. Is it a negative to what's been posted or is it a negative to how the reader perceives what he/ she is reading?

Has nobody ever scrolled down on there phone and by accident it has given a thumbs down, you can’t them change it?
It does make me laugh that people moan about getting a thumbs down like there ego has took a knock from it. if you want your ego stroking your on the wrong site.

Too many sensitive souls methinks?

I completely understand in Annesley's case, as sadly we have seen thumbs down when others have posted about illnesses too.

But it is no surprise it is 79 and Skegativity who are most happy about it's removal (I think the latter requested it) as they were officially the World Champions at receiving them.

Not everyone has time to post replies and will just scan and leave their agreement as a thumb up or down and now their right of expression in the manner is removed, I really don't think people would be upset by these surely:) .

Too many 'snowflake' type folk.

Ginger kid you obviously no nothing about nothing mate me and 79 was joking that day about thumbs down as we do all the time I'm the last person to be worried about thumbs down because I don't care about some of the daft fans on here that haven't a clue notice how I said daft that was being polite 🙄😁 and Sutton Annesley did get quite a few thumbs down about that conversation and yes maybe someone pressed the thumbs down once by accident but not 4 or 5 times unless you had the shakes that day 😁 and redinexile sensitive you can talk you 3 are the most sensitive don't call my karanka else I'm going to chuck my dummy out of the pram 😂😅🙄👎.

Gingerkid I couldn't care less about thumbs mate but even creepy stopped posting because of a thumbs down and vowed never to post again.
I thought that a great shame and asked him in a post to come back on here as he was a loss to the site.
So for some it's a good thing.
If you are really desperate and don't want to post just reply with a thumbs down it's that simple. 🤔🤪.

That would be a lot of 👎👎👎👎👎 from him lol.
