Depending on your view the signings made so far are either entirely down the club, so they would have come even with Martin and Roy in place, or the choice of player is down to the club but the type of player is the request of Sabri.
I feel whichever it is, it is something to be pleased about.
Off course there is a gamble to the players brought in so far, the ex Bolton player has not set the Championship alight but if he had we could not afford him most likely, however he does have parts of his game that we have been lacking, so if Sabri can hone his skills that would be great.
Silva who has joined us, and possibly Alfa joining us are totally unknown entities to English football, off course Dias and Goncalves did not do very much last season for us but they they were only loans so we did not spend money in way of a transfer fee on them.
Carvalho the one that we did pay a fee for showed a lot of promise, and should be all the better for last seasons experience, should Silva who has been quoted by Portuguese media as costing in between one and two million, and Alfa who would only be a loan can develop a understanding with Lolley and Grabban potentially the football could be entertaining, and hopefully winning football.
Althohgh the club are gambling on them at least the club seem to be making entertaining football the teams ethos, which is not a bad idea, after all where has other types of football got us for what feels like forever.
Aitor tried to change the way we played to some extent but for all the players he bought in we still have too many players lacking pace and skill, yet either the club off it's own back, or off the advice of Sabri are trying to bring in the right type of player for the funds available because of the need to keep within ffp rules.

There the same sort of players they bought in the season before ffp was not a problem last season this season there buying from the same place we bought the last dross lot lol.

These are not exciting signings because the reenact a failed path from countless tiles by forest. I hope this works out this time but won’t get excited until they show consistent performances beyond the early season sunshine . We’ve been here too many times before, this touting of 25 million is laughable to be frank. We heard silly numbers quoted for the three amigos last season and none of them are worth anywhere near the values that were being mentioned. How many more times will we got robbed by Benfica before we learn our lesson?

Totally different types of player Joe Brill for us but couldn't do it in the prem, carvalho price tag raised to much expectation I don't think it's the middle of the pitch you need worry about upfront is my concern and at the back if we do have the man city goalkeeper got yo remember ges only 21 then again pants well is his name sake pants going to be a interesting season I think well prob struggle to finish in the top three.

He’s a different player to lolley and we took a massive punt on lolley due to his injury/ injuries. how can you try and compare a winger with a attacking midfielder. so it’s just his price tag not his ability? could you explain why you moan about him so much when it’s not his fault we paid that for him?
