So we've bought two midfielders. What happens then to Cash, Watson, Guediora, Osborn, Lolley, Yates, Bridcutt, Yacob, Carvalho, and Ameobi?

Get rid of Watson, Pep, Bridcutt and Yacob. Also assuming the Greek midfielder has gone to Lecce.

Depending on who else comes in i think Yacob could be a valuable squad player.

Ameobi is not a midfielder and we need at least 8 in the squad . Cash is also a wing back so there is only one to lose from that list Bridcutt because he moves the ball too slowly with Watson to trade for an upgrade?
Geddy and Yacob are good enough now we have more pace and we need to strengthen other areas before trying to replace these two?

If Guedioura was one of the players that was partly responsible for the sacking of both Aitor and Martin he should go, he does seem to have a fair number of games where is passing is poor as well.

I think you read too much into dressing room spats. The manager changes are down to Dourekas dictating the transfer policy. MON only got the gig as a quick fix when AK left and his style clearly does not fit the owners strategy!
