Just been reading on the nottingham post site about former forest keeper Tim Erlansson. He's retired from the game due to mental illness. This is such a shame. Although it's not something that effects me i know of friends that have. It's a terrible illness. I wish him all the best for the future and hopefully he gets all the help he needs.

Well said mate.

Yeah well said. this is an illness that can affect anyone at any time and should never be underestimated.

See the sewer dweller has made an appearance with his silly little thumbs down game.

Wish him all the best.

Which person gave a thumbs down?
Whoever it is you should be ASHAMED. probably a derby fan or sewer rat.
Wishing you all the best Tim.

I have to agree it's in very poor taste to put a thumbs down to any one who is struggling with any illness, everyone gets affected by mental illness often without realising it we all have bad days but some find every day a bad day through no fault of their own we lose loved ones and friends and it affects everyone differently, its really good that at least it's more understood and there is help out there.

Very well said Fff. I have not suffered from anxiety as such, but have had problems. It's a very lonely place to be. I wish Tim Erlandsson all the best.

Red frog I doubt a derby fan would stoop that low mate, football is football that’s, all illness is real life.

30 Jun 2019 23:44:55
Agree stevie. It's just an ill informed twot who thinks he or she is being funny.

Maybe if those responsible for "thumbs down" were to suffer from mental health problems, they might think twice about their actions.

Maybe some people should be more thoughtful about comments aimed at players on social media. JW being slated not only by Forest fans but also Rangers fans probably doesn’t do much for the lads mindset.

Nice post Annesley, I know a couple of people who struggle on and off with anxiety and is difficult to see sometimes, it's great that this is being spoken about more openly by everyone these days.

Even if you were a Derby fan mischief making you would have thought they would have thumbs upped the original post, a bit sad.
