So, Vellios and Soudani out, Hutton and Ameobi in. Does this mean that there's no money in the kitty for MON? Seems odd that we'd go for these players when we know the likes of Byram is available for a few mil. It makes no sense to me and hopefully someone will come out soon and explain why we're going for free journeymen and not showing a lot more ambition.

Gazza Krankie spent a fair amount last season.
I agree forest aren't looking like an ambitious club wanting promotion with these poor signings.
Maybe Marinakis is solely interested in his native club allowing funds to be spent their instead?
FFP may also play a factor and the amount of players Krankie brought in will no doubt have a reflection on wages etc.
O'Neil knows he has a task ahead but if we keep signing players of a poor calibre and a certain age a mid table finish is where we will end up. Hopefully I'm proved wrong.

Gazza just remind me who we've signed we haven't signed anybody it's all gossip until a player as come in and put pen to paper we don't know anything last summer was the same we was linked to every player going and most of them didn't sign so let's just wait and see priority is to get rid of all the crap we have

Exactly my point FBB, these kind of signings show little ambition and the merry go round of overpaid journeymen continues. We're getting rid of bang average players to sign older bang average players, that business model makes no sense. Anyway, looks like Hull are in for Hutton now too so hopefully they get lumped with him instead.
