How about signing a player who has scored 31 goals in 61 appearances and whose manager doesn't play him much. Yes its Brit Assombolonga. If reports say Sheff Utd want him but won't pay what we got for him then maybe its worth a punt. Just saying he scores goals and a few more this year would have helped.

2 Star you are right. I don't think its looking back to sign a player wanted by Premier league club and our competition and some one we know can score and who knows us. Also I enjoy looking back at our successes been there done that worn the tshirt as any thing new is a bonus and a bit less stressfull.

Stan, I watched assombalonga closely when we played boro at home. He would work very well in O Neil’s style of play in my opinion. He didn’t do much that day but I’d very strong at holding up the ball and would be great and bringing players like carvalho into play.

I think you need to learn to read red.
I said you should never go back,meaning players should not be bought back,they are never as good the second time around.
Looking back is a different meaning and I never mentioned it.🤔
