Now, in no way was I cheering on the Rams today, obviously. BUT. is anyone else slightly worried that Joe Lolley's boyhood team and clear admirers of his talents, have just got promoted? I reckon there's going to be a hell of a tussle over him now, and I wouldn't expect him to want to stay with us, if so.
Hopefully they look at bigger targets, but it's a concern.

I share your concern Irish Red. I think that it's up to us as a club to convince JL of our ambitions.Realistically if we don't get promotion next season he'll want to move on.

£15-20m and he’s theirs. I would say £30m but it’s unrealistic for Villa to pay that much. Do I want to see our little championship Messi go? No. Do I think 4 or 5 quality signings could be made from the money? Yes. We’d need to get rid of about 10 players too.

Think its straight forward if villa want him and lolley wants to go,then it will happen.
You can't keep players when they want out,just look at what happened with Antonio and if you dig your heels in their value goes down with every poor performance.

Lolley will stay with us. AV will be looking for much bigger fish to fry to stay in the Premiership, in 6 months their team will be unrecognisable from the one they have now. However I'm glad the better team got through, they certainly walloped us and showed what they could do. Let's hope Lampy goes off to his beloved Chelsky and the Rams are yet again deserted bridesmaids. (Sorry for all the mixed metaphors in that lot)

That's why we want Grosiki from Hull as a replacement for Lolley methinks.
Shame to see him go we should ask at least 15m for him get Grosiki for 3m leaves a nice healthy 12m for other players.
Jack Marriott would be top of my list for 6m

We could of had marriot for 1.5 last season but we had the great Portuguese players instead wouldn't give sheep satisfaction of making money from us

Lolley is a gonna. If Villa want him he'll put a transfer request in to get his move if we reject the first approach. Posh wanted close to £8 million for Marriot that's why we went for Grabban instead, Skegsjay. Would we really want a player like Marriot who'd rather go golfing than training?? Not for me.
