Middlesbrough are considering suing Derby for not meeting ffp rules, what next we sue the players and their clubs that we were cheated out of about eight points.

Agree1 Disagree1

Thing is LC boro are in the right.
Villa have broken the rules too,its not good enough waiting for them to come back down and punish them like QPR is too late, they've cheated to get there, both of em,but only one will face the consequence next season.
Fester did it Bournemouth did it,at least they paid up.
It's a farce that you can break the rules to get to the prem and the punishment isn't implemented till you get relegated or come to an arrangement

Same everywhere money talks those that have get away with it those that don't well you know.

That is a fair point, both of you.

Corruption and deception nearly always goes unpunished. Especially when the powers that be are weak pocket liners.

Every club in the league should of kicked up a massive fuss about the way derby got around it.then for the media to big them up for making a profit is also absolutely ridiculous.
What next will he sign a player for his other company with one of the duties of his job being to go and play for derby?
Maybe our owner could sell one of the screens In the stadium for £100 million to his shopping company.

It’s the fa’s fault ffp is sh**, it’s not fair play, what it should be is a limit on how much u can spend of transfers, say every club in our league as a max of 15m to spend that’s the only way you’d keep it fair cus then they all had the same amount to spend and wouldn’t matter if he’s sold the stadium

D*rby exploited a loophole that should be closed but didn't break any rules. The rules of FFP doesn't stipulate how to make a profit just as long as the club doesn't lose £39 million over a 3 year period. Clever by Mel Morris if not underhand. FFP isn't fit for purpose anyway but no Forest fan would complain if we had to do something similar to get around it.

If they put a cap on players fees and wages then there would be no problems with fair play rules a million pound limit job done every team in the country would have a fair crack simples

26 May 2019 20:41:07
Unfortunately it can't be done, football is like any other industry, there aren't any wage caps.
It would take all football clubs to make a stand against the players ,just one thing in the way, ambition to be at the top.
What gets me is a player can demand whatever wage wise but an owner can't spend his money anymore as he likes in football?
Surely this is an infringement on the owners human rights ?

26 May 2019 23:52:38
79 you’re right, law should prohibit this but no one has had the balls to challenge it! Or owners think they can gain an advantage through making everyone else stay in the law e.g derby
