Hi All
I was a regular at the Boat club saw zeppelin, Rod Stewart, Budgie, Nazareth etc sad it all goes but times change.
Very rarely post but keep an eye on all of yer. WE are all now living the dream. HAd my book signed by Mr CLough, Ronnie Fenton by his side and thanked him for the joy he bought me seeing a unimaginable dream come true champions of England and champions of Europe.
We are now entering a new era one we should all embrace, whatever the outcome this is our club and forever will be. We are the Mighty Reds.

Why the doom and gloom? Surely everyone can see there has been an improvement, last year relegation battle this year promotion battle. Sure we fell short and in the end were not good enough and the football hasn't been the most attractive but, we are steadying a club that was and has been on a downward spiral for 5 years.
Keep the manager, improve the ground,
buy a few players, let's see where that takes us.

Last year relegation battle? we finished 9th 8 points off the play offs.

I don’t know how people can’t see it’s not about finishing 7th it’s about the way we finished 7th if were mid table an we played amazing to finish 7th everyone would be saying that was great next year we will be stronger and rightly so because there would be a feel good factor, we were 10pts above 7th place at 1 point and only needed 1 win from 5 games then 1 point from 2 then a 6 goal swing on last game and still we f****d it up so for me going into next season unless there are changes we just going to start the new season the same simples.

agreed. it wasn't about finishing 7th, it was the way we did it after being in the play-off spots for so long. the wheels totally came off and should never have happened. even after a few days i still can't quite believe it.

I’d start with Murphy up front, he roughed Leeds up a bit at cg last season, more his sort of game than grabban, who to be fair has taken some unfair stick on here in the last week, in my opinion.

Enjoy the game but the odds are stacked against until Lamouchi gets his signings up to speed!
We will only get a result if he sticks to last seasons game plan but his style suggests otherwise?

We were told by many last season that we wouldn’t beat Leeds, if not for a shocking decision by the officials we would of beat them twice last season. admittedly we had a better manager last season but it’s still a game of football and we all know football can throw many surprises up.

I'd play uncle Albert up front he has more in his locker and point to prove than grabbone his goals are usually tap ins or of his lazy back SIDE. put a player upfront who wants to run for 90 MINS not if he can be arsed. His performance last week was a joke at best.
