I see Brice Samba conceded a penalty in his debut for Lens. Glad he used up his penalty mojo while playing for us! Wish him all the luck in the world, though. His heroics in the semi final earned him great respect!

Text from my son, who seems to hear things before I do, that we've just secured Moreno for around 9m. Not yet on official site, so I'm still classing that as a rumour for now! Was hoping to hear something about a brilliantly creative midfielder or a truly prolific striker!

I watched a true prolific striker today and he cost 90 million
But then he gets all the amo needed from probably the best team in the world

Hi guys bit worried by yesterdays game felt like the press needed to much more higher and with much more aggression and also the keeping hold of the football and playing balls in behind against a slow defence seemed difficult for us early days yet def need a bit more going fwd who can fit in with Lingard and Johnson as a three think Awoniyi should start at West Ham Utd see how could his hold up play is so Johnson and Lingard could run off him better.

Yeah Fff79. He looked the business didn't he? Thing is, at the moment, even if we could afford a 90m striker, we couldn't attract one until we're established. Just hoping for one we can afford, who wants to come to us genuinely and has sackfuls of goals in him. yeah, I'll keep taking the medicine. I will get better, I promise.

Wow! That was a tough listen today. Defensively we aren't too bad, I suspect, but if you're just playing attack v defence something will give at some point. Very worrying that we didn't lay a glove on them in terms of a shot on target at least! This month's going to be really tough. NEXT month is likely to define our season. If we don't pick up a few points against Southampton, Fulham and Bournemouth then we could be in real trouble!

Hi, returning member here. Was originally SuffolkRed. Somehow lost my log in details and never got around to re registering. Couldn't miss this opening season back in Prem though. Apparently the system still remembers my SuffolkRed username, so I've changed it slightly. Hope to contribute posts over this coming season, which promises to be a very interesting one! Yeah, I watched most of it on a dodgy Spanish stream with no sound. Buffering ruined it, almost missed our goal. I'm feeling a bit troubled about where the goals are going to come from. We didn't create a great deal (unless I missed our best chances waiting for the screen to refresh! )
