I see a couple of posts on here knocking a knighthood for Lewis Hamilton, who it could be convincingly statistically argued is the best formula one driver of all time?
Is it because he didn’t come from the same gritty ‘school of hard knocks’ backgrounds as Stirling Moss, James Hunt, Nigel Mansell, or Jensen Button? Is it because he allegedly moved away to tax evade, as opposed to allegedly staying here, banking offshore, and ‘encouraging’ leaving the EU due to tax evasion law changes like the backers (and half of the cabinet) of our ruling political party?
Or is it something much more simple than that I must be missing? Anyways, good chance to experiment with formation and give a run out to some younguns today, you reds!

Tyrone Mings made a more concise, accurate, and erudite point in a single tweet, about something that directly involves him the day after losing a major international tournament final, than anything I’ve seen posted by a good proportion of ‘fans’ in months.
But, yeah yeah, I get it, ‘Marxism’, and ‘playing politics’ despite factual inaccuracy etc. etc.

As a ‘lurker’ here, who comes here to enjoy educated and passionate opinions about the club that I have always loved, I usually sit back and observe, and, process the differing opinions about the team, whilst thinking up my own, without feeling confident about putting my footballing opinions on here directly, as it seems like a tight knit ‘band of brothers’, who are far more committed to the cause than I could honestly say that i am nowadays.
That said, the above post has genuinely made me want to speak out, and, unfortunately then more than likely never visit this site again (as I’m sure a newbie saying this to a respected poster will be received badly) . However, if you think BLM is ‘fascist’ and raising a fist ‘divisive’ purely because you’re personally happy with ‘kick it out’, then I’m afraid you might have to consider that you may just be part of the problem rather than the solution. Despite us supporting the same team in the beautiful game, we appear to be on very different sides of this argument from a social perspective.
