Just registered my fellow reds, so heres to a happy new year and 3 points at Preston (we can dream) . Been reading the forum for a while and thought I'd chuck my thoughts into the ring. The mention of Franz Carr made me smile, the right wing flyer, fastest footballer I've ever seen. Trouble was, he'd cross the ball straight to me behind the goal in the Trent End!

You really think Eddie Howe would be interested in coming to us, I think a reality check is needed. Don't think we could get a manager, with a proven track record, any better than Houghton. Or, do we go for another untried foreigner. To me the team formation is no different to last season, trouble is our attacking players have been pants. Last season they weren't, we were winning, everybody's happy. Not Houghton's fault, give him a couple of windows, then judge imo.
