Think we will be played off the park, but still get a 1-1 draw.

2-1 Forest. it's in the cards we get the double over them and yes they will have more possession and yes they will have more chances and yes they will cry they were the better team, always forgetting we allow every team we play to have those stats but are masters of the rope a dope.
I moved just over a year a go from Devon to Wales but tickets for the Exeter game will be like gold down there so I'm not holding my breath on friends finding a ticket.

Legolas. We lived just outside Bideford in lovely countryside, then a farmer sold his land and the lovely views became a building site with hundreds of houses going up. I didn't retire for that and then my daughter ( and grandkids ) moved to Llandysul in Wales so I couldn't not see those kids grow up. Easy decision in the end and I love it here. I can see the snow covered mountains across the bay, endless views over the fields and 4 nearby neighbours who say good morning and chat for a while. I love being on the water so located in Cardigan Bay was and is the perfect fit. Just got back from Heathrow ( wife off to Australia. what a long days drive ) and I don't miss civilisation one bit. Could have stayed overnight but needed to be sure I was back for tonights game. coyrs.

I know Llandysul very well Targa mate. I was at University at Lampeter down the road and played football against Llandysul in the old Cardiganshire League. I remember the games were always a bit feisty as we were mainly English ( the Welsh lads generally played Rugby) so every game was like Wales v England. As there were no professional clubs anywhere near there were always “ crowds” of a few hundred. We had a very good team and in the 3 years I was there ( 2 as captain) we never finished below 3rd and reached the Bay Cup final twice. It was a time of a Labour Government, late 1970s so we had grants to support working class lads like me in further education. So most of our team had been on the books of professional clubs then opted for education rather than sport.
I remember Llandysul were quite racist. We had a black London lad playing for us who’d been at Arsenals Academy, lovey lad, about 6’3” always top scorer in the League, who got some right abuse. Had a few fights there as well and we invariably won ( both fight and game).
Newcastle Emlyn were the Manchester City of that League but, like them, cheated. They were paid as semi pros and won everything in an amateur league supposedly!

Hi Stokey, yeh my daughter lives in Llandysul and I've watched a few Llandysul FC games down by the river. Lovely facility. I think St Dogsmael are currently the best in the league right now.
We live just outside Cardigan along the coast and can be found daily on Aberporth beach with my dog. Everyone here knows me because I wear my Navy, green ( Cloughie ) or black Forest sweatshirts more often than not. I get respect at the local because ( as they say ) I was born to support Forest and had no choice, whereas they know they chose their team of choice, usually one of the Manc teams or L'pool and not one has ever seen them live! They also know me and the wife travel to the CG at every opportunity. Anyway. I stop boring you coyr's 2-1 tonight.

You won't bore me with your posts Targa as I've been reading Stokey's posts for way too long! Sounds lovely where you live mate. I too am a 'salty sea-dog' and couldn't now move away from the Cornish coastline here.
Have a great night Targa and everyone else at the CG tonight. Fingers crossed.
