Caught the game on the box. Jamie Redknapp was very complimentary about us, nice to see. Anyway, this VAR situation has to change. If it's taking over 3 mins to decide then for me that's just too close to call it, and the goal should be given. I thought MGW was having a bit of a mate yesterday after a couple or so of his easier passes didn't make it and he lost the ball, and then bam. up he pops with that cross. Have to say though, Williams' shimmy to go the other way and get the ball to Morgs was class. Have to say I was a tad diss appointed to see Sels beaten by a header from that distance. Was a good header but he really should get something on that. I don't usually praise opposition players but how good was Martinez in their goal (apart from when he let Milenkovic's header wriggle free)?

Anderson played a blinder. Loads saying that he fouled Cash in the build up to the second goal. For me it was more of Cash getting the ball and turning into a solid Anderson and coming off worse.
We look so much more menacing with Jota playing, and he's always willing to get forward. Sometimes we play too much tippy tappy football, like for the majority of the 1st half. moving 2 steps forward and 1 step backwards. I think for the first 60 mins we showed Villa too much respect.

Finally onto to Elanga. What a sub that was and what a performance. This might sound harsh but lately he's been lacking a cutting edge that we saw the last couple of seasons. Finally we got to see what he can do again. Hopefully it'll continue now.

And did you see the big man Marinakis waiting in the tunnel to give everyone a hug! Lol, how many of us wish we had a boss like that I wonder. Hopping for a Man Utd win today (does that sound sad or what lol).

Great post Chim, 2nd half was very good from us, probably the best game Anderson has had for us I thought, he has been a great signing.

We are looking pretty well balanced now and it's great to see us as a threat once more from corners and free kicks, what a difference it makes.

Milenkovich has been so close to scoring on a number of occasions, so really pleased he has a couple now. Maybe he can get as many as Colin Cooper used to, he's been another fab signing.
