Football, such a simple game. Yet it's love echoes so many great great memories and thoughts throughout our lives. Whether it be your 1st forest game with your old man, to your thoughts to the great clough/taylor years. Could even be your favourite player. Whatever year. All i see is the news at the moment reminding us how skint were going to be over winter etc how the mortgage will be paid. To young families feeding there kids bless them.

But Football gives us hope. Something we can hang onto throughout these dark times. If ever forest could have gone up. Never ever could it be a be a better time you reds. The crowd at the city ground sunday shouted a lot louder than any politician .or newsreader. These are good times you reds. And I'd like to thank each and every one of you I've met so far .good times . Luv you lot. Ps don't forget the tin of beans or whatever in the foodbank ❤

Oi oi oi rubbish music? The sex pistols did more to try and change this country and dull music more than any other band ever has, they also risked being tried for treason with there No 1 hit god save the queen…. so don’t go making generalising sweeping statements about 70s music being poor, you’ve obviously never heard of David Bowie, Buzzcocks, the partisans, Paul Weller jam, the Damned, PIL public image limited, Marilyn Manson and the sex pistols then….? Punks like me have to put up with crap sweeping generalisations from people like yourself who make uneducated narrow minded opinions, when you have nothing to back up what you say.

Go jolly ?? punk and the 2 tone movement both originally quite short lived but had a massive influence on the lives and views of many people - loads of modern bands still recognise them as musical influences and the fact that the music and lifestyle is still relevant and so many bands keep generating punk and ska revivals says a lot about the feelings and where the music comes from and where the music takes you. What an era!

At the moment you haven't got your health.
It will return but will take time.
With c.v. brexit and the Russian war against Ukraine there was always going to be a price to pay for our nation
Try not to get pulled down by the British media with all their doom and gloom, it's best not to watch as its hardly good viewing.
Main thing is we are alive and kicking and it's a one way journey, there is no return journey so enjoy.
If we look at life from when we were born my friend there has been so much improvement.
It's just nowadays the TV and media have taken over people's lives and are telling them they need everything that's advertised instead of going out for a walk or a bike ride its TV 24 7 for far to many people.
Fast food cus its easier than cooking lots of things are wrong in our society nowadays
Let's stick to football hey mate on here cus we are going in the right direction.
Politics is a waste of breath and the people will decide in the end what happens as to who tells lies while in power cus that's all they do.
They are all the same.
A bunch of liars that can't answer a question when asked.

Brilliant and very insightful post 2tone my mate, punk and the 2tone movement was and still are brothers in arms……especially bands like selector who identify themselves as ska punk, as both genres suffer from the same ignorant narrow minded views from the so called general public……punk started in 75/ 76 and really exploded onto the scene even more so in the 80s with bands like charged GBH, the burial, the 4 skins, One way system, the expelled, court martial and exploited to name but a few and still even today punk and new punk bands are being formed and is still going as strong as ever……. the country is still in a state and social injustice, bigoted ignorant and closed minded views are on the rise so the punk movement is still as relevant today as it was in the 70s and 80s, probably even more so today.
So “Oh bondage up yours” punk will never die.
