Just reading some of the threads below. I think we need to be realistic. Partly through the negative way we play football under Hughton and part through how we have treated players in the recent past we have become an unattractive proposition to join.
Add to that the general chaos of our scouting network and abysmal transfer policy of our previous CEO then we are on the back foot to begin with.
Financial fair play smothers any ambitions we have, all I am saying is don’t expect miracles. On the positive side we have some good young players coming through, but if any of these are sold then we are definitely in a relegation battle.
Who could do better with this squad? Wilder? Warnock? Perhaps few managers could get any more out of the team than Hughton gets. It is what it is.

I agree . Every Forest’s fan anxiety is our goal scoring record or more especially Grabbans ‘s . If CH picks Grabban against AV then it shows his low opinion of Taylor, Da Costa and Swan as would be alternatives. Grabban I think scored 5 last season and not many the season before . There have been 4 pre season matches and he has not scored. That is a major worry . For me I would look at the top three scorers in 1,2 and National and buy . They cannot be any worse surely?

Doc grabban scored 20 the season hefore and i think 16 the season before. But on last season his poor character shone through and his greedy antics cost us points.

I'm pretty sure Grabban scored 20 goals the season before last and 16 the season before that one. If he'd put away his penalty misses and easy chances them stats would be more impressive. If that was the case though he wouldn't be playing for us, he'd be prem league. His whole demeanour makes it harder for us fans to take to him, but he's been a top championship striker.

He never really had pace, so if Mighten, or Lolley can provide the right balls, then he might get a few goals. at this moment we're going to need them.

Is grabban 8r Taylor the answer to their quick play and thinking?
No it's not mate we need pace up top to bring the Best out 9f them and make a team.
Grabban been a good servant but time to move on.
Lest said about Taylor the better.

Yes mate, we are thanks, hope you, and all the Forest Family are too.
Up on our beautiful North Coast, for a week or 2.

My sister-in-law has a holiday bungalow, here, so I'm so lucky, as people are being shamelessly ripped off. as if things aren't bad enough.
Anyway, me and my big mate, (see pic) go off every morning for a lovely walk, I've ran out of words regarding going for a walk with him. he just picks up on everything even remotely connected to heading out.
My wife got me him when my mum passed away 6 years ago, he'such a loyal, and loving dog, . as we say here, he can be a "buck eejit" at times, however he's been brilliant for me, in not so brilliant times.
So thanks again "Ya Buck Eejit! "
