Im going to get shot down here because he one of the biggest wan#ers in football, for me over the years England always lacked someone on the left. Wonder how good we would have done with Giggs, anyone agree while i hide under the table?

England have had some quality players over the years, there have been 3 things that stopped them winning anything, not having enough quality players at the same time, the wrong man managing them, and the team thinking they only had to turn up to win.

You know what Bowie, I usually agree with most of the things that you post on here mate, but this time it’s a massive negative! I really can’t stand the bloke, overrated as a player and an horrible little tosser. Beady eyed domestic abuser. His eyes are too close together and i hate him. So from me, it’s a NO!

Perko noooooo please mate, i can't stand the bloke for all the things you mentioned (including the eyes 😂😂) i think what i was trying to get over mate we always struggled with a left sided player?

Ron Greenwood

Graham Taylor

Glen Hoddle

Howard Wilkinson

Peter Taylor

Eriksson

Steve McClaren

All debatable choices, some good people not the quality needed others dodgy choices.

Robson
Venables
Wilkinson
Keegan
Eriksson
Hodgson
Allardyce (who fkd up and i thought would do better than southgate)

Eriksson i thought held his own with the players he had
Hoddle lost the plot
Wilkinson had to be given the chance.
Wally worst ever thank fck he's at the sheep, or is he not sure.

Let’s not kid ourselves, giggs would have walked into the England in his prime, am judging him as a player not a person,

Ericsson was paid way more for managing England, other bosses dreamt of the money he got.

He played Beckham even when he was badly injured, he was the first foreign manager, and he brought bad press to the job.

Wilkinson made Hughton look like he has a personality nd got lucky once, like Karanka did at Middlesbrough.

I must say i loved Keegan's attacking football, lethal tactics but joy to watch.

Stars Beckham could play a pass to perfection from anywhere, he had knowledge, brilliant free kick taker, as for sven he went where others had been. Goes with the job mate, just ask the women that went with him. that's not shame, its a nick on the bed. not sexist just the truth.

Stars Wilkinson had a lot of knowledge of the game, he had to be given a chance. But remember these are only my opinions mate.

You have backed Eriksson and Wilkinson, called McClaren fit to burn and given no comment on some of the managers on my list.

I take it you now agree not all the managers that have had the England job should have got it.?

I was not picking fault with Beckham, no player should be played when badly injured

It does the player no favours as far as his injury, and it sends out the wrong message to other players that play in his position.

It would upset the atmosphere in the dressing room.

Rather have Jeremy Corbyn on the left than Giggs.
